Update on my son and the case.

I just got a call from the Detective on the case about my son. He said that he is very close to an arrest. He just needs my permission to look at the medical records from when my son was at the hospital to finalize some evidence and make an arrest!

I asked him if the suspects have changed. They have not. Still my sons mothers boyfriend. Possibly my sons mother as well.

I feel closure is coming and this is going to be put to rest, at least for now. I really feel great that someone is finally going to pay for beating up my 1 year old son. I feel a weight has been lifted off my chest, even though no arrests have been made. It feel really good that it is close.

Just wanted to let anyone who cares know! A LOT of you supported me and kept me sane while I was in the hospital with my son. I thank you all again.

Good luck man. I know nothing will ever be the same for you again, but hopefully it all works out and helps you get some closure. I just don't understand why people who are having a hard time dealing with kids, just don't go get some professional help. It is available out there for those who need it, even if you don't have money.

He is doing really well! He has not had another seizure. He is growing and learning just fine We have another MRI on the 2nd of December to check and see if the blood has resorbed! I am excited for that, I think it has gone down!

Not sure how much time he\they will get. I would hope at least 1 year. You get 1 year for domestic violence, but that is on another adult. I would hope it is more severe for an adult hurting a 1 year old child.

It was\is hard man. But if I lose my cool and do something to this guy, I would have lost my son. So, I am letting the law and the Lord take care of that guy for me.

If the guilty party doesn't plea bargain to avoid a trial, let us know when and where the trial is.

Maybe we can get some S2 members to fill the seats and make sure the judge takes it seriously.

I'd hate to see any leniency, but that's what usually happens with bad cops.

if he does get time (hopefully) he's gonna find it very hard in there - even hardcore crims look down on punks that beat/abuse kids - he'll be getting a LOT of attention in there... ideally with punches n kicks in the daytime and peen at night.

if he does get time, send him some lipstick, he's probably gonna find it useful.

Yup. This has me afraid the entire time. I don't want my son to suffer because he is a "brother officer." Although, as far as I know, he still has not gained employment with the Woodburn PD.

Ya! If he does to go prison, they will not like him there. 1st that he is a cop, second that he beat up a child.

You might raise the issue to reporters about which police hiring practices was it which put the guy on the force, and how many more are there like him.
