Surgery is the likely scenario, we’re told, though a final decision has yet to be made.

If a surgical procedure is the path, he is expected to undergo surgery sometime next week, we’re told. It would be a simple procedure and a timetable of approximately six weeks is the recovery time for similar operations.

Talked briefly with TRob as we were boarding our flight to PDX and he intimated it wasn't a big deal for recovery. Seemed to be in great spirits.

Well it's a thumb injury and didn't Freeland have the same surgery his rookie year? So much for hanging on the rim after a dunk. Good news that he'll be ready for training camp though
