bain fucked over americans and the government

no thanks

That's so weak of a comeback. You bitch about "blame Bush" but that's on the same tier as "well, well, it's still better than Obama!"

http://www.factcheck.org/2012/06/romneys-jobs-record-is-best-or-worst/

A campaign ad that praises Mitt Romney’s performance as governor of Massachusetts presents a slanted view of his record on jobs, unemployment and taxes. To every claim, there is a “yes, but” qualifier.

The Romney ad claims that as governor, “Romney had the best jobs record in a decade.” Yes — Massachusetts added more net jobs during Romney’s four years in office than during the four-year period of either his predecessor or successor. But — that ignores the national recessions before and after Romney’s time in office. If you look at how Massachusetts stacked up on job creation compared with other states, Romney actually fared worse than his predecessor and successor.
The ad claims Romney “reduced unemployment to just 4.7 percent.” Yes — Massachusetts’ unemployment rate went from 5.6 percent to 4.6 percent under Romney. But — the state’s unemployment rate was slightly lower than the national rate when he took office, and was roughly the same as the national rate when he left office.

As Governor, his state ranked nearly dead-last in job creation.

"That's all that matters."

not really. Obama is on the clock right now and we're judging his job performance which is abysmal.

Obama fucked us already. worse than Bain ever did.

To me, its a non-issue. He has shown excellent performance on the job there. To make profits.

And we need to put a grinding halt on the damage Obama and Bernanke has done to this economy.

the thing is, Obama has no clue what he's doing. The markets are only up due to quantitative easing. unemployment is not getting better and there's no real relief in sight. debt is spiraling out of control. Interest rates are low and when we start raising them as we will eventually need to do, the economy is going to go into a freefall. Obama's just banking on "shovel ready jobs" for his job creation.

Massachusetts ranked 47th in job creation under Romney.

:dunno:

When he took over in 2003, MA was 50th in job creation. When he left in 2007, MA was 28th and had an unemployment rate of 4.7%. In other words, he took over a situation that was the worst in the nation and brought it up to the point where there was full employment in the Commonwealth. There weren't any more jobs to create. Nice try, though.

And what would you call Solyndra? GM? Now that's fucking over shitloads of Americans, to the tune of billions.

Don't you just love numbers?!!!?

Because we're both correct

But your numbers are deliberately deceptive. If Mass. had 0% unemployment when he started, they'd have had 0 job growth and naturally a 50th ranking in your scheme.

All my number points to is job growth in Massachusetts rose at 1.5% over the course Romney's term (with the national rate being 5.3%). It came out to 47th in job creation.

It's a true statement.

.....He went along with the policy of encouraging banks to give mortgage loans to people who could not afford them, which caused the real estate market to rise to an unsustainable level, then when it collapsed, he went along with the bailout plan which is costing almost $ 1 trillion in new deficit spending.

Bush inherited, by his own admission, a good economy, a surplus, and peace. He quickly talked us into a recession to get his tax cuts for the rich and to abolish the inheritance tax. He gave the 'little people' some checks to shut them up and the surplus was no more.

Read up on the community reinvestment act. Bush certainly didn't help it but you have to give Clinton just as much or more blame.

Also, please explain how the bush tax cuts caused a recession.
