I think that's bull though, if a player wants out of their contract, they shouldn't get paid for the rest of it.

As I understand it, they get to deduct the amount Dallas is paying him and spread the remainder out over a longer period of time. It seriously reduces the amount of luxury tax they are facing.

I think maybe Jameer Nelson or Luke Ridnour on a one year contract to have some vet depth at PG.

I think it's important to have a 3rd PG for emergencies, and Neil Olshey seems to agree based on his interview.
