I rarely post to you. The fact that you think you're the object of my obsession says a lot about your psyche, though. What's your point in this thread? That the debt ceiling being raised is blamed on the GOP, according to some polls, so that's good news for Barack?

If that's the case, then isn't it you who is adding nothing, and just trolling for responses?
 
I see a lot of people complaining about trolling with PapaG, when its not trolling.

The mods don't think its trolling, and they don't like to edit threads. People who accuse one of trolling are normally just upset one has a different opinion. You can see how freaked out Democrats are for example.

I have not responded to PapaG initially in years. He continues to take pot shots at me without provocation. Am I supposed to be okay with being told out of the blue that "my brain is rotten"? You don't think thats insulting? Would you be okay with being told your brain is rotten huevonkiller? Aren't you a mod? What exactly are you moderating? This is par for the course. Why is this allowed at a site that doesn't allow trolling?

Rather than getting upset with G, just have fun with it.

Stomp the key is that it doesn't matter if someone hates you online, you can say almost whatever you want around here. I don't moderate much because we have laissez-faire standards.

I don't really mind any trash talk directed at me. Also I don't personally believe in ignoring (putting people on ignore/block list) anyone online . I read every perspective and just laugh to myself if I disagree.

Also you're not suppose to moderate at all in the Blazer forum. Only BrianInWa and myself get that privilege.

I don't hate STOMP. He just has a hard time dealing with differing opinions. Perhaps the interweb forums aren't the best place for him? I like his posts on the Duck forum. Perhaps that's because we have the same opinion about the Ducks. I disagree with him most of the time in the OT forum, and if he can't handle some criticism, that's not really my problem.

That's not even my worst experience here with another poster, and I never asked that the most recent case be banned for posting my personal information that he clearly purchased somehow.

He found out somehow. There is no way to do it through this screen name, either. I don't think he bought it from this site. I think he purchased the $40 software that allows one to view IP addresses on these types of forums. That's fucked up, but I haven't seen him post much here lately, which is odd considering he was going to "hold it over my head".

Of course I'm bitter. My country is taking a beating, and to add insult to injury, we lost our AAA credit rating... which they made clear was largely due to debt and deficits. Yet some people still can't wake up and realize that we are overspending, and want to keep the handouts coming.

These polls that you are referring to are from the idiot Americans... half of which don't even pay federal income tax, while they scream for higher taxes on the rich and more spending. And we should listen to them about who is to blame for the "debt ceiling crisis" and the credit rating downgrade?

Yeah, I'm bitter about that, and I think it is justified.

I've disagreed with you plenty of times also. I was just trying to tell people your comments seem insignificant and wouldn't bother me.

At S2 you're allowed to like/dislike/hate whoever you want. You have not done anything wrong.

The rules state no personal insults. S2 members are free to insult me, they aren't allowed to insult each other. Some of the posts are starting to approach that. I know, it's a gray area but that's why I figured I'd throw out a couple of posts asking our wonderful members to tone it down just a bit.

you'd probably be best served if you focused your bitterness on those that were responsible for the mess. We ran up our debt mostly under the direction of President Bush and a Republican Congress as most "idiot" Americans agree. Our current Republican dominated legislative branch decided they'd rather try to make political points then pay the debts incurred for unnecessary wars and such and then dragged their heals so much that... well here we are. In the end Americans have their views and you probably have another, together we will assess the blame in the next election.

Go take a look at the spending and revenue numbers. The fact that you think some corporations paying too little in tax has a significant effect on the $1.6 TRILLION deficit shows that you have no idea what is really going on.

Like you, those idiot Americans have no clue as to what the revenue / spending issue really is. People like you think we're going to make a dent in this issue with tax increases, where even if we could increase tax revenue by 10% (a large increase) we would be nowhere near solving the problem.

Clearly you didn't read the reports from S&P saying that the proposed cuts that were finally agreed upon on not nearly large enough. You say the "dragged their heals", but we still didn't get anywhere near large enough spending cuts because of the Dem controlled Senate and White House. Now here we are.

Yep. And half of those Americans don't pay any federal income tax so they have no skin in the game. They'll continue to vote for whoever promises them more handouts.
