I am a Duck fan first, but have definitely been cheering for the Beavers the last few years.Go Beavers!
I would love to see them put a good game together on both sides of the ball and steal this game.
Huge Duck fan here! But I always root for the success of the Beavers. No partisan stuff from me I’m all for reppin for the state !

Ward, Utah is being a little hard on the beaver tonight.
The thing that's real weird is Washington State.
This will be a great indicator game for how the Beavs are developing.
Well if they would spend a little money and get a big name coach that could actually recruit, then win a few home games, they might start to fill all the seats they just put in the stadium.I felt bad that the stadium was only 1/2 full.
I read a recent article that they operate with a significantly lower budget the rest of the P12. That alone would make it tough.Well if they would spend a little money and get a big name coach that could actually recruit, then win a few home games, they might start to fill all the seats they just put in the stadium.
Yep. They have to make a decision. Either they want to compete or they can go to another division. I'm a OSU alumni. I really don't care what they do but this isn't working the way it is. Being the door mat every year just gets old and it doesn't help the Pac 12 at all. When everyone just pencils in a win when they play your team it's bad for all involved. How can a Pac 12 Champion be taken seriously when 2 or 3 teams are this bad? The top 5 or 6 teams in the SEC would all be in the running for the Pac 12 Championship.I read a recent article that they operate with a significantly lower budget the rest of the P12. If they can build on a couple more wins versus last year as they are tied now, its progress.
I agree. I have kids and grandkids that are OSU alumni and they are open for a change to another conference like the Mountain West (they not to shabby) as the fit is much better with schools more their size and similar budgets Im guessing. I know this is heresy to many, but to continue down this path with football is really anti productive, imo. The fans deserve their moneys worth.Yep. They have to make a decision. I’m betting Tennessee Arkansas and Kansas would compete in the PAC 12 but I see your point here. Also the SEC has 14 teams so there is that.the SEC has their own set of doormats and "sure" wins. Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee....those teams have been generally bad for a decade or more. Every once in a while they'll have a good team that gets to a minor bowl game, but they never really challenge for a division title
to be sure, the SEC is better in football than the Pac-12 (and some other sports); they are much better managed (Larry Scott sucks donkey balls) and in a recruiting hot-bed
the Pac-12 probably fucked up big-time several years ago when they had the opportunity to add Texas, Oklahoma, Ok. State and maybe Texas A&M. Those teams were willing and ready, but the Pac-12 balked at the idea that Texas could keep a portion of their own revenue from their TV deal. Big mistake. And that's even though the conference already had unequal revenue sharing and still does. Imagine the Pac-16 with two divisions of the left coast teams from Cal, Oregon, Wash.; and the 8 teams from non-pacific coast states. Would have been wildly interesting and entertaining
They still should try and reshape the Pac 12. Ask Nebraska & TCU, TA&M, Baylor to join.the SEC has their own set of doormats and "sure" wins. It would still be division one.
