He got off five shots in 14 minutes. That's pretty aggressive IMO.

I want him to be more aggressive in other parts of the game... especially on the glass.

Ed O.

He had only taken 3 when I posted it.

We'd be up 20+ if Oden hadn't gotten in foul trouble. He was kicking ass out there.

Really? I didn't think he was playing much better than Joel, but we lost a lot of momentum when we started subbing at the end of the 1st. When Sergio and Travis come into the game, they dominate the ball too much, and it seems to hurt our offense. Even when Roy or LA are out there, it's the Sergio and Travis show.

I hope we re-build the lead in the 2nd. Utah should be tired coming off a back to back.

Nah, they're not tired because of how many play stoppages there were due to the refs.

The Jazz always play physical, it's what they want, and I don't think the Blazers would mind the refs swallowing the whistles here tonight. Let the Jazz do what they do, but call it even and let the Blazers reciprocate.

Anyone want to reconsider whether they'd like to face the Jazz round 1? It seemed an awfully lonely position when I took it.

If Portland has HCA, I'd love for them to face the Jazz in the first round. I don't think the Jazz could win in Portland. But if they have HCA, it would probably be a series loss as I don't think Portland can win in Utah.

Both these teams are like night and day, home and away.

Considering how the Jazz have been playing, I think it is THAT bad. They're holding, grabbing, flopping, and pushing.

The thing about the Jazz is they flop in so many ways. They are constantly throwing their arms up in the air like they are being held. They also are good at rapping their arm underneath the opposing player, hooking them and
them then raising their arms up like they were the ones fouled.

The exact same thing could be said for Denver, New Orleans, and Houston :sigh:

That's what I'm saying. The fouls the refs are calling are straight up bullshit.

It wasn't a slight on Joel who played very well. Oden was just so pumped up and playing great and I would've liked to see him play more.

Man, one thing I can say, the Jazz didn't panic. They were down 19 and they just took it and are chipping away.

Pat Riley once said, "If you foul every time, the refs can't call them all."

The Jazz have clearly taken the inverse of that: "If you flop every time, the refs are going to see more fouls than exist."

Noooo.... this is a fairly called game.... totally..... Williams just slapped Blake in the throat, and it was a foul on Blake, but that's legit.

Denver and Houston, yes. I sortof think Portland could potentially eke one out in New Orleans. Maybe that's delusional...I just don't feel New Orleans is as much of a home beast as the other teams.

WTF is up with Violet Palmer? She must have some stake in this game.

Dude, fuck it, I want these guys in the playoffs just so we can knock them out and laugh at them.

Man, we're really getting a taste of playoff basketball right now.

Yeah. Great running by the Blazers. We're beating them down the other end and getting easy buckets.

Violet Palmer needs to get a job in a glue factory.
