I heard what Webber reported hearing - all the scouts walk by and say "huh - I didn't think he'd play this hard..." Let's see if he can keep it up.

It's easy for a drive and kick guy to look good with the defense at summer league. He'll have to prove he can finish if that's going to keep working.

Its summer league and he is playing vs guys who have no chance in hell of defending him. Bayless looked like a future MVP in summer league too. Summer league is fun to watch but in most cases it means absolutely nothing.
 
Barnes is looking like what people said: a very good jumpshooter who can also get leak out buckets, but who doesn't dribble or do much else.
 
Golden State is another team that is stacked. Klay Thompson (their standout player), Charles Jenkins, Barnes, Ezeli, Draymond Green...

GState vs. Houston should be a good one.
 
Jarrett Jack and David Lee watching the GState summer league team. That's cool. The Thunder have been doing that for a while.

Jack and Barnes can compete for hugest forehead.
 
Interesting physical comparison for Leonard.

Apparently, he's Brook Lopez with Chandler type of athletic ability.

Spot on. This is exactly the type of player that looks great in summer league. (Martell, Qyntel)

Vegas SL is going to be so much more fun to watch than that shitty Orlando crackerjack box gym bullsheet.
 
Just saw Waiters and Irving here in our lobby at the hotel, looked like they were on there way over to the arena........... can't wait to see if he is the real deal or not!

I gotta say, I am getting pretty excited to see our new guys. A month ago, I didn't even think I would pay any attention to the summer league.
 
Festus Ezeli with +31 in 18 minutes, in the Warriors 40 point win over the Lakers.

Per 48 minutes:
With Ezeli on the bench - 14 Point win
With Ezeli playing the entire game - 82 Point win.
 
I'd never actually seen Ezeli before - I expected someone a bit slower and pudgier, like Fab Melo. He's pretty awesome - why was he a low first?

I really hope, with a name like that, he has siblings with children.

(Why weren't Vanderbilt better? Their three drafted players have all looked good.)
 
Btw, The Jimmer looks very 'meh' running the point.

How long until he's on the trading block?
