Maybe a distraction from Dame bullshit would be good on this Holiday. How about discussing veteran players who may be past their prime but can contribute to establishing a positive culture within the team?
Dame has often cited how Earl Watson mentored him and helped him grow in his younger years, along with Mo Williams, although maybe he contributed to Dame's chucking habits. Jared Dudley with the young Nets is the quintessential example. While his on-court contributions may have been limited, he took players under his wing, brought confidence and defense (even on bad wheels), and trolled the shit out of Ben Simmons.
I thought Corey Joseph would have been a great fit for Scoot before the Warriors signed him. His high character would have been a valuable asset to guide our young guards and contribute to our team culture.
Which veteran players do you believe could have a positive impact on our team's culture (specifically the backcourt)?
