possibly...

I think SF makes more sense though, they could move Batum to SG...

My thinking exactly

if this stuff is true I do wonder who we are really after, I am not convinced it's Trob, could just as easily be Beal, going up to #4 for Lillard seems unlikely but who knows? Nice job on the confusion Neal!!!

Portland loves Barnes. That is alli am going to say. I have said this before aswell

I wish I could see something interesting in Barnes. I just don't.

How does the pizza juggler feel about Barnes?

If you guys really want to hear an interesting take on Barnes, Dave Telep was on the NBAToday podcast with Chad Ford on ESPN.com After listening it made me reconsider him a little bit. Telep seems to think that Barnes has always seen himself on a track for the pros (and worked on his game from that perspective) and that the college game didn't really fit him (and made Barnes more robotic and less instinctive).

I listened to this as well, and i conclude that if we take Lillard with a chance to take Barnes, we would be making a mistake

He is also freakishly intelligent. Which some scouts believing made him less instinctive as well

Maybe ... and I'm not suggesting that I'm completely sold on Barnes just because I posted that story and link, but it did make me pause.

If it's a choice between Barnes, MKG, Lillard or Drummond -- I'd go with Barnes.

Lillard or Barnes

Drummond - too much question about his desire

MGK - no real offensive skillset.

I disagree. I think he'll find ways to get open for mid-range jumpers and will completely destroy on the fastbreak.

Probably because teams will let him shoot it

Looking directly on the other side of the coin, Kidd-Gilchrist's 22.4% of shots coming as jumpers is the fifth lowest rate in the group, and his 0.712 PPS on these shots ranks dead last, and well below second-to-last Khris Middleton's 0.827 PPS.

It's great that he plays hard, plays good defense and gets to the FT line, but overall his offensive game is really lacking.

Of course he will find a way to get open mid range shots. Defenses will leave him open because he can't shoot :)
