Clyde Drexler said:
"That was a shot for the ages...You gotta give Damian Lillard a lot of credit."

How sweet it is.

Their board is just as entertaining:

And a BIG assist from the Portland shot clock manager.
NO WAY that shot gets off in time, unless he delays the clock as he did.
I don't know why that shot wasn't reviewed, but he DID get it off before the clock expired.
However, the clock didn't actually start when he touched the ball.
You can't catch, take 2 steps, jump and shoot in .9 seconds. The replay makes it obvious. But nobody questions the mismanagement of the clock.
Good job shot clock guy! For the WIN!

And if it weren't for those two late phantom calls that Dwight got late in game 3 this would've been a clean sweep for the Blazers.

Wow. Denial is a dangerous drug. That guy is clueless. The clock DID start as soon as he touched the ball. He did NOT take two steps. What a tool.

Obviously, that poster doesn't know the shot was reviewed.

That's because they're watching it in slow fucking motion. They realize it's a human being who has to actually hit a button to start the clock? It's not a machine, and I've seen other Rocket fans actually admit that even if it was started late, Dame got the ball off well before the time expired so it would have been good anyway.

To add: Even starting the clock at the instant the player touches the ball, a tenth of a second has to tick off BEFORE a tenth of a second is actually subtracted from the timer. It's this thing called "time".

They were literally going to find anything they could to discount the win.

Does it matter that Lillard was in bounds and they gave the ball to Houston? Nope.

Does it matter that Howard literally pushed four people out of bounds causing Rolo to foolishly throw the ball in under our own basket? Nope.

It only matters that the refs fucked them (in their minds).

In the playoffs, the timekeepers are neutral. Not that I expect Rockets fans to know this.

Never understood why anybody would ever record themselves watching something. Always questioned the validity of videos like this. Especially when they punch the TVs.
