TRAIL BLAZERS TO HOST GAME 1 BROADCAST VIEWING PARTY AT THE ROSE GARDEN SATURDAY
Free event allows fans to watch Trail Blazers vs. Mavericks on the big screen
**Event is open to the media**
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Trail Blazers will host a free broadcast viewing party at the Rose Garden this Saturday for Game 1 of the Trail Blazers' first round series with the Dallas Mavericks.
Doors to the Rose Garden's south entrance will open at 5:30 p.m. Fans will be invited to sit in the Club Level, and will receive 2010-11 Trail Blazers yearbooks and Rip City Uprise playoff placards upon entrance.
Live music, concessions, face painting and appearances by Blaze, the BlazerDancers and Stunt Team will provide an atmosphere of a Trail Blazers home game. Additionally, two merchandise stands will be open, featuring the Rip City Uprise playoff t-shirt.
The big screen in the arena bowl will be lowered for optimum viewing of the game, which tips off at 6:30 p.m. on KGW.
Fans that attend will have an opportunity to win free tickets to the Trail Blazers first home playoff game.
Parking in the Garden Garage is free.
