<div class="quote_poster">AMS_ice Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Carter may have been dubbed as the next Michael Jordan when he came into the league, but what has he accomplished individually and on a team stand point? In 8 seasons, he has been NBA Rookie of the Year (1999), All NBA Second Team (2001), All NBA Third Teram (2000), Slam Dunk Champ (2000) and NBA All-Rookie Team (1999). 8 seasons! That's not much at all for what some of you might think he is. The Raptors had their best season with Carter was when they went 47-35 in 00-01, losing to Philadelphia in the second round. As amazing as some of you think Carter is, he hasn't done that much.
From the next MJ, what is Carter now? Just another scorer? Carter's highlight reels doesn't put him up there with Lebron, Kobe or Wade. Sorry, but fact is, Carter can't lead a team, and that people, is in the books! For those who think that a lot of teams want him, here's a question? What are those teams? Aside from Orlando, what team has looked at him? Fact of the matter is, Carter's value isn't much anymore. Carter's name has been rumored to be on the trading block but started and ended with Orlando. These are the FACTS!

I never really saw Carter as a leader myself. The facts are though that Orlando might not even be looking into him anymore because he's gonna want a lot of $$$$$$$$. I think the Magic are leaning on Josh Howard now more than Carter or evening looking at trying to get Rashard Lewis. Carter is a solid scorer and a good defender though. Sure he's made the All-Star game(because fans vote for him) but he has had a decent career. I mean you can't say the guy sucks. I don't remember anyone saying he was the next Jordan though. But then again, who is? Is Kobe, D-Wade, LeBron, or T-Mac the next Jordan?? HELL NO!!! There can only be one Jordan and that's Michael Jordan.
