back in the day there was a Blazer newsgroup on Usenet. No moderation at all so it was a wild west. Can't remember the newsgroup name other than Blazers being in it

Mine was the same as it is now. I do remember one moniker from back then that may have been the person you were trying to meet at Mt. Tabor. Could it have been Jet or Jetblack or whatever the hell that guy was going by???Wish I could remember the monikers back then
That's totally irrelevant to how he posts as a condescending troll. Nobody is discussing what he does as a mod or cares about that. The fact that all the mods tend to support him leads to me to believe they aren't disappointed with the way he handles his responsibilities.
Just an assumption on my part.
It's not just some random off days with unusual behavior. It's repeated behavior nearly every day.Folks, we all have off days. Nobody knows what anyone is going through unless you are involved in the intimate details of their lives. I know I've gotten upset and said things here I regretted during arguments. We are all human. (Except that one catfish that one time way back when). Strenuus apologized. Ive met him in person and he was nice. He has attended many forum events. I've also met KS in person and he was nice too. I even met HCP and he was nice too (that's the most shocking one amiright?).
The only person that is a butthole 100% of the time is @SlyPokerDog.
I was discussing it because I do care. That's totally irrelevant to how he posts as a condescending troll. Nobody is discussing what he does as a mod or cares about that.

Ah yes…..The Kardashian ruleI think there is a rule about continuously trying to create drama…
Can you please share the "Kardashian" rule as some of us might not have that info.Ah yes…..The Kardashian rule
Wasn't there a few? Like, asbnpb or rec sports?
I also remember there being something with deja news or something.
And here I was just getting started.......it never occurred to me that there were limits on stupid.......I stand corrected. At least until the next time Trump (or any Republican for that matter) opens his/her mouth......This is the stupidest thing ever and that's a fact and there's no room for discussion and dumb dumb dumb. -Stren
you're probably right. There were thousands of newgroups. Lots of file-sharing, porn, mp3, apps. I think most of the discussion groups have died and vanished. It was free back then but the for-pay providers were taking over.
I forgot about the pay part, but yep. That's what drove the final nail in the coffin.

Isn't "Rambler Classic" an oxymoron.....??yep...the good old days like when I had dial-up internet access from Teleport
* my first computer had a 60MB hard drive and ate floppy disks
* my first phone needed it's own parking space and when I picked it up I had to lift with my knees
* my first car was a 1962 Rambler Classic station wagon. Don't believe I ever coaxed a girl to get in it. Lonely life with over-drive
* my first beer tasted terrible, but I didn't give up; still haven't 57 years later
* my first wife became my first ex-wife 10 months later

That is a shame, because as I recall the seats all folded down flat to make a bed? Maybe it wasn't that particular year. Not so rare today, but back then it was a huge advantage for a man with access to a Rambler station wagon.

I think the deadline passed about 25 months ago.@SharpesTriumph you could make the results of the voting on the poll public. That might get us through the next couple weeks with more to talk about on here.
I've decided Stren can stay on two conditions...one, he change his avatar to Terry Stotts and two, he change his user name to Terrystotts#1fanboy ...
Sounds like the @SlyPokerDog of cars by that description.depends on the definition of classic. If classic means ugly piece of crap that runs and runs for thousands of miles on one oil change, then classic it is!
I prefer my line tight!Super limp!
