Collins was never going to get much PT his first year. If you're upset that he's a high pick and not getting minutes, look at people like Dragan Bender or even Chriss in Phoenix. Neither of whom are blowing the world up in SL but should be okay. Collins's value is going to be as a defender, first and foremost, and that's not something that shines in SL. He also needs to put some meat on his bones. But you can tell he already has better court sense than Meyers.

I think he's currently hampered by the expectations of a high pick. But he played one year of college and he didn't even start.

Think of this as like Freeland's first year. It was disastrous. But he turned it around by focusing on defense and made himself pretty useful. And he was much older than Collins.

When you look at it like this, the 76ers are really a snake bit team. I didn't realize how many injuries they had - you have to be pure garbage to be that high in the lottery for four (possibly 5) years and still be garbage.

Not really. Drafting injured players is their actual modus operandi. They hope that these supertalented dudes will avoid further injury. So far, it hasn't worked out, but if it does, wow!

Collins play really good D he blocking shots and making players change there shots at the basket. Offensely I am not to worry right now that will come. Olshey drafted him for his D and whatever get in the offense end. So right now he doing what he was drafted for playing D. Swanigan had solid game too. Both player needs to get stronger and they will.

Serious OT question: how do you put a moderator on ignore? I don't see the option in the regular place.

If some of you guys thought the main reason for this draft was drafting a Summer League MVP. We drafted the wrong guy for you.

Collins has a bit of a learning curve. The draft isn't about instant success in an unstructured SL.

Collins is going to learn tons going up against Nurkic in practice. Couldn't ask for a better person to learn from.

Layman still can't transfer his practice to game time. Pat right now the only thing that going to safe his job that he been on the team last 2 years and knows the system. But I would like the Blazers to pick someone new for the 15 position. The guard play been terrible this summer.

You answered him by claiming I was the only one using Caleb Swannigan's nickname in the thread.(oh no did I misspell his name? I'll be sure to google it... Here you go caleb swanigan. <-- Straight from google blame them if it's spelt incorrectly)
If he didn't know of Swannigan's nickname(which I highly doubt) your comment towards him was clearly a shot at me. As I as you claimed I wasn't the only one using it in the thread, nor was I the first to use it.

But you've never liked my posts ever since you were a mod and I called you out. Therefore your hatred towards my posts is expected.
Sorry I entered your game thread. I'll be sure to stay out of it next time.

wheres my tissue gif. certainly seems like you need one right about now.

I don't even know who you are dude. I don't remember you "calling me out," and I certainly didn't care what you call him. I guess you have some kind of perceived feud going on in your mind, because I don't remember anything you posted at any time.

I am not worry about our rookies there down on the dept chart they proberly won't see much action there 1st year.

I wasn't bothered by some of the things others were bothered by, but I was bothered...

1) Why don't we have a PG starting? (edit: ESPECIALLY since we're trying to develop our bigs)
2) Why is Hunter on the team? Great shooter, horrible shot selection - in college, and since - I checked his stats. Do the blazers think they can change his shot selection? If he was some athletic monster, I could see trying... but, he's not at all.
3) On 3 occasions in the 2nd half alone, they switched a big onto Pat, and he couldn't do anything. Knowing this, he didn't try. If he's not quick enough to get around someone 6 inches taller and many lbs heavier than him, he....
4) I was bothered by PJC saying that Biggie was a "little small" to play PF. Certainly not by weight, he's going by height and ignoring his standing reach. At least Breen interjected/corrected with Biggie's substantial wing span.
5) We should have gone to Collins in the post.... often. Eventually, we went to Swanigan in the high post, and I see some wonderful potential there.

No, SlyPokerDog. He's a whiny little kunt. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this

Dude you pop up in random threads just to insult someone. AND you get personal about it.

Give me a break.
