Wait, so we got 3 second round picks?

I see it now. Signing him created salary on the books to trade for salary of someone they wanted. Thanks.

Not sure why Boston as so dead set on getting Courtney Lee, but they tried to get Phoenix and Orlando involved as the third team and when those deals fell through, the Blazers stepped in.

BUMP.

So, name three guys you'd be stoked to get (that are not projected to be first rounders).

I'd like any three out of:
PGs: Myck Kabongo/Lorenzo Brown (if we don't get Schroeder)
C: Colton Iverson (if we don't get Dieng/Muscala)
F: Andre Roberson/Trevor Mbakwe/Livio Jean-Charles
SG: Alex Abrines (just to stash for a while)

I almost like more of the 2nd round picks then the 1st round ones.

Any of Pierre Jackson PG, Mike Muscala C (but see him more as stretch 4), Nate Wolters PG, Colton Iverson C, Glen Rice SF (but we would never draft him)

I see a theme of backup PG and backup Center though (I think our starting Center comes via trade or free agency but no idea who).

We should keep all of our 2nd round picks in order to have a good Summer League team!

How can NC State have three NBA players (Brown, Leslie and Howell) and still be crap?

Giovanni Conte, Basket Caffe
"He improved a lot last season as he acquired minutes and confidence. He plays with no fear, even in big games. His shot is smooth and quick, and very reliable also off the screen. He has a great body with long arms that allows him to deflect many balls. His quickness and good mentality make him a great player in transition, even at the NBA level."

What Insiders Say
Luka Bassin, International Scout and Coach, Slovenia
"After last season's eruption in Malaga, this season's ups and downs in Barcelona and a good end of the season (ACB league still in progress), Abrines is ready to be drafted. In my opinion he should stay in Europe at least for another season. He uses perfectly off-ball screens having good balance and quick release and is excellent in transition. He is fast and has good leaping ability but lacks muscles. In case some team needs the Manu Ginobili of the future..."

His age and skillset -- he's an ideal prospect to draft and stash for a few years.
