I'd love for you to provide an example. Sub-14 per after 250+ starts and age 27 or older, then later is one of the top 8 players on a title team.

You find one, I'll make my avatar or signature whatever you want.

There are tons of them. Bruce Bowen is one with a career PER Of 8.

Although Bowen didn't have the starts earlier in his career. Well Boris Diaw is another. He played the 4th most minutes for the Spurs when they won the title two years ago. Started 269 games by the age of 26 and has a PER of 13.0

Shane Battier is another one. Has a career PER of 12.6 but was 6th in minutes on the two Heat championship teams.

Derek Fisher is another one. Sub 14 PER 250+ starts and a top8 player on the two Lakers title teams with Pau. So thats what 4 such players I found just in the current decade.

CHECK MATE!

He didn't win a title but went deep in the playoffs...Doug Christie might fit that mold of Fisher and Battier

Hey JinxSpeed, you talking the 41 game mark or all star break? And as far as bets go, MAGS owes me a steak dinner at El Goucho from LAST season FAMS!

Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS

The dude is 2 for 11 on the three ball to start off the year. That is pretty much how he finished the the last season.

So what do you want? To trade him? Maybe we should start Frazier instead.

HCP: I was very clear. I bet $100 Blazers have 20 wins by the ALL STAR BREAK. Since you have us winning only 20 games all season, this should be an easy bet for you, no?

I hope you are better at paying off your losing bets thanks the ChinaMan MAGS is!

So if you only listened and didn't watch, how do you know they were poor shots? How do you know he wasn't triple teamed? ( IO a shot while being triple teamed is usually a poor shot. A wide open one, even missed, is a good shot)

Though Dame didn't have a good shooting night, I did not SEE Dame chucking up. Many of his misses were contested layups where he was fouled.
Yeah people jumping on dame but he was driving to the rack. He got the points from free throws. He had a sweet little tony parkeresque floater from the foul line that gave me a chubby, and his defense looks drastically improved already.

Not to mention he has his team playing selfless team ball already rather than pulling a lma and cheery picking a center who will do the hard work so he can pad his stats

My favorite Dame quote was the interview during camp when he said, I'm not going to be the hero on this team..people shouldn't expect me to win games by myself..it's a team
I like that.

AND HE DOESN'T SAY YA KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aminu has a new one...yknow what I mean...I counted about 12 in an audio clip

Something happened to his 3 point shot. He fell off quite a bit since around mid-feb or so. Then what you know he has this start to the season..

It's the season?

No, no, it's the PRE-season.

Last pre-season? 8-20.

Then, in the month of November he shot 42% from 3.

Pre-season doesn't equate to season slumps.

Nor does a past season equate to a current season slump.

You make a fair point, but I'm thinking Stotts is a bit more old school. Hendo is a proven veteran and as such, might get the push over Crabbe based solely on that. Or at least until Hendo has a chance to prove himself....or not. I'd hate for us to go into the season with a disgruntled (and talented) veteran who doesn't think he was given a fair shot because of an injury. We seem to have great chemistry and Stotts isn't going to want to mess with that. Having said that, Crabbe's apparent emergence would certainly make a guy like Hendo more expendable come the trade deadline (so it's important he has a chance to shine before then). While I get the reasoning behind the Lavine decision in MIN, you can't help but wonder how that's going to affect Martin's attitude and play, along with team chemistry. Unless they plan to unload him before the start of the season.
I think you'd be right about stotts if he didn't have such a long window to win big

Although Dame's 3pt shoot dropped off last year, I don't see his overall shooting efficiency dropping significantly. I think he's doing a better job at taking what the defense gives him. 2013-14 may have been his best overall shooting year, but it was live and die by the 3pt shot - he had no 2pt shot. Last year he wasn't hitting his 3s, but he had his best shooting year by far from 2pt range.
2012-13:
- 3pt%: 36.8%
- 2pt%: 46.9%
- FG%: 42.9%
- eFT%: 50.1%
- TS%: 54.6%
2013-14:
- 3pt%: 39.4%
- 2pt%: 44.7%
- FG%: 42.4%
- eFT%: 50.8%
- TS%: 56.8%
2014-15:
- 3pt%: 34.3%
- 2pt%: 50.0%
- FG%: 43.4%
- eFT%: 50.6%
- TS%: 56.0%

He's playing off a sore ankle this preseason..that alters a shot

The the group that properly be the rotation has play really well last 2 games. Now we go on the road now let see if we continue the same play. The 2nd half defense was great as held Golden State to 39pts nice job.

I'm sure he's trying to make 3 point shots if he's taking them even if it's preseason. I love dame like everybody else does but at the same time you gotta be kidding me to say since mid-feb or so his 3 point shooting hasn't been bad to border line terrible. Let's not even count the playoffs, so far this preseason I cant even count how many times he missed every time I would think "miss" when he shoots 3s..

But hey we shall see

iirc he was at 41% 3pt before he got hurt vs MIA last Jan. ended up at 34%. not a coincidence, imho.

Because you thinking "miss" made him miss.

You don't have that much control. Sorry to burst your bubble.
