everyone accepts that jesus was jewish, i was having a convo with someone the other day about this, neither of us knew why

was he a fertilized egg placed in marys womb? like god made the egg and put it there? would make him 0% jew by my estimation

or did god fertilize one of marys eggs, making him half jew/ half god?

whats the deal yo

Blood of Jesus found on Ark of the Covenant - scientific proof of Virgin birth

Not only was the blood "still alive" but the chromosonal count was only 24. All humans have 46 chromosomes; 23 from the mother and 23 from the father. This blood only had 23 from the mother and 1 extra chromosome; a sole "y" chromosome. This was impossible humanly yet it was the result of the test, clear as day.

:devilwink:

For those that choose too, here are a few of the places in that Bible that affirm that Jesus was Jewish.

Matthew 1 1-17
Luke 3 23-38
John 3 2
John 4 31
John 6 25
Matthew 5 17
Luke 2 39-41
Luke 6 1-5

Starts with genealogy and follows through on how he worshiped and beliefs he followed..there is more and the bread crumb trail is easy to follow.

I have heard this fellow say, "The only way to make a Jew is to be plopped out of a Jewish womb". I have no reason to doubt him.

I'm talking about If your mother is Jewish, you're Jewish.

That's the only way to qualify.

Not true, Wook. You actually CAN convert ala George Costanza. A friend wanted to marry a Jewish girl and the only way she'd say yes was if he converted. He was nonreligious, didn't care one way or another and converted.

The process sounded bizarre, but maybe I'd just had a few too many beers when they described it. I think the dude, who was already circumsized, had to have a ritual circumcision where they used a needle to remove a drop of blood from his penis. Sounds crazy, but I'm pretty sure that was part of the Jewish conversion process for him.

You're right, I should have added that caveat...

Jesus was the natural-born son of Mary and Joseph. Neither was Jewish as far as anyone knows.
