Washington Post: "Trail Blazers plummet back into irrelevance"

I went to Bend last weekend for the micro brew festival and was amazed how many Lillard jerseys were in the crowd

Thanks everyone. I come to the site often but rarely post. Been a member since 2008. Love the site - Love the Blazers!!

My favorite players have always been the unsung hero types - - the hustlers; from Bobby Gross, Kermit Washington, Brian Grant... to our most recent Wes Matthews. We'll need to find a new player that fits this mold. I'm curious if it might be an Ed Davis?

Grammar police, really?

That's the best you can do? Why post anything at all. You obviously knew what I meant. Shit happens on cell phones, Eric

Oh dear. It's spelling, not grammar. And the I is far from the E on a cellphone.

I was thinking Amino or Leonard honestly. I think Leonard is poised to turn the corner defensively and be a terror. We already know he gives it his all on the court 100% of the time. If he does it smarter, he will look much like these types you mentioned... that I also am the most fond of that type of player.

I just looked up "relevance" in the dictionary. Says it's something that has "no probative value". As I write this, I'm sitting in a dive bar on the Oregon coast. The young bartender here has the Blazer pinwheel tattooed on his right calf. Something tells me the Washington Post has a different definition of "relevance" than we do....
Cool. I have it on my right calf too!

I thought it was interesting that Lillard mentioned Ed Davis and Mo Harkless as new guys he was excited to play with...Davis is definitely a sleeper talent

Could be. I have always loved Ed Davis, so I'm excited. I think Vonleh could be that guy, I think.

So keep coming back and posting. BC is just up the road so being a Blazer fan makes sense. And I personally think your "new player" is Moe Harkless.

So then literally nothing constructive to add? Just feeling bitchy today?

Just wanna point out stupid shit?

Ok, cell phone is two words, not one. Wow, this is fun.

Your first three sentences lack a subject, and the first even lacks a predicate. As for the last two, please refrain from starting sentences with interjections; it upsets my delicate stomach.

Oh dear.

If you've never seen a preseason that had us predicted to be bad in the West....welcome to the world of Blazer fandom...it's a tradition around here. I like being the underdog

I remember the 2000's all to well (well, pre 2006).

My favorite part of the article was (outside of it being an actually well written piece that we don't usually see from the Oregonian writers), was the not so subtle diss at LaMarcus that Olshey did.

Basically that Damian wants to play with players who actually want to be here, and don't have one foot out the door at every possible moment. If you don't want to play in the city you're playing in, you're not going to give your all for that team or fans.

As others have said, it was so obviously that LaMarcus had phoned it in during the playoffs. I'd rather have a less talented player who plays to his best ability than what LaMarcus showed. And I'm not just talking about his offensive stats, he physically looked disinterested in playing.

I agree with this. In fact, I've heard you should seek medical help for an interjection lasting more than 4 hours.
