Saldama and Jovic for Grant?! How many firsts are we adding? That seems like a coup for Portland...not that I'm against that.
It gives every team in the trade what they need. Memphis gets two very good contributors for Ja whose price has never been lower. Heat gets a disgruntled star that they can try and give new life to, like they did with Jimmy.
We get great young pieces for bench depth and can trade away any of the RW3, Rupert, Thybule and Reath for picks thus opening space to sign Cisoko and Love.

If Ja's value is so low, why would the Heat have to give up Herro and Jovic for him?

Jrue and Jerami will cost 2 first round picks, thank you very much for doing business.

I'll be shocked if Jrue is moved. I don't think we want to trade him. I think Dame really wants to play with him next year.

KAT is the Anfernee Simons’ of bigs

A walking bucket who is a traffic cone on defense

30 years old on a mega max contract is the cherry on top.

“Knicks are entertaining offers” was clearly put out …..by the Knicks.

My ideal target would be JJJ. 26 years old. 2-time all-star. Defensive Player of the year in 2023. Shoots 35% from 3. The only drawback I see is his salary of $200M/4 yrs. But with Deni on a club friendly deal, Sharpe locked up on a solid deal, and other expiring contracts over the next few years, I don't see that hampering the Blazers.

What would it reasonably take to get JJJ?

I'd flip Holiday for Grant if that's more appealing to Memphis.

Too high? Too low?

I'd be excited to see this lineup going into next season -

I don't think it makes sense to send out Camara - if we're mortgaging future picks to win now we need elite role players on reasonable contracts.

Also Camara doesn't really make sense on a rebuilding Memphis team.

So I'd put Scoot in place of Camara, add Yang and add one FRP. If you really want to get aggressive you add another frp. That's 3-4 FRP and two potential young guys - totally reasonable for JJJ.

I'd also send out Grant and keep Jrue.

Dame Jrue
Shae
Deni Camara
JJJ
Clingan Timelord
