I'm not trying to defend it, but just pointing out that Max Christie has been playing well for Dallas lately. He looks like he has some more room to grow too.

Are you pushing Sharpe to the bench to start MPJ? If you push Camara to the bench, does MPJ take over guarding the team's best player? If we acquire MPJ for the bench, are we really giving up 2 1sts for a bench player, to give us, generically, what Grant gives us?

Yes, I would start Porter over Camara and move Tou to the bench. Porter would improve our spacing, our rebounding, our ball movement, possibly even help with our turnovers. Tou would get enough minutes off the bench to have plenty opportunity to provide defensive impact, but I'd think we'd move to a more straight up defensive model--the opposing team's best player is simply guarded by his positional counterpart--and of course by whoever gets switched onto him, or by the zone defense we'll occasionally play.

Sure, I like the idea of having Love and Grant come off the bench as conscienceless gunners, but i don't see Toumani as such an untouchable member of our starting lineup that he can't be supplanted.
