There are separate stats for shot clock shots at 82games.com -- this year, 71% of our shots come before the shot clock is down to 8. Last year, it was 57%. In 09/10, it was 54%.

EDIT: Our FG% in each of the ranges 0-10 seconds used, 11-15, 16-20, and 21+ seconds used: 55%, 43.6%, 41.9%, 47.3%.

Wow, thanks that is exactly what I was looking for. Good stuff. Thank you.

Now that's just smart! I just dig how we've been really smart with our possessions. Once we get our game playing shape and lose the large turn-over; we maybe the best team in the league. Of course I am talking homer....

The percentage of shots that are jumpers may not have changed, but the priorities have.

In previous years, our first option was to swing it around until someone jacked it up from outside. Our second option was to rebound the miss, then for the big guy to struggle for a lucky inside make from where he had found it.

Now our first option is to race down and get an inside shot. When that fails, our second option is to pass around (going inside then outside then inside then outside--not the same as just swinging it around to guys all far from the basket) and then take a jump shot.

Maybe I should have read more of the thread before posting.
