If nothing else, it functions a lot better on a mobile browser. I normally use tapatalk on my phone, but I'll switch to web view when there are tweets or instagram posts in a thread. With the old format, it was very difficult to read. With this software--MUCH easier to work with.
 
Could somebody knowledgeable tell me--is the a way to change the settings so that I can automatically go to the oldest unread post in a thread? I'm looking but not finding it.

Edit: I see that a "go to first unread" button has now been added to the in-thread navigations. Thanks.

Hopefully it ends up a little more like the old one, inasmuch as the visual aspect of the forum. The replies and quotes posts are a little oddly spaced.

I havent looked yet, but I hope there's a way to change the # of posts per page.

And I had a helluva time finding a way to send a fresh PM.
 
I like the functions so far. Going to take some getting used to but I think this will be an upgrade in time.
 
I thought we agreed to what happens in chat, stays in chat?
 
It seems fast and looks fine. I never had a problem reading the old stuff on my Note 3. What I am saying is that some things you hit open up windows that you have to cancel or hit the x to close. With the old stuff I could just hit back when I accidentally clicked on a forum member name instead of the thread title. I am wondering if there is a setting where every click opens a new window instead of a pop up.

Not that I know of. If you want to google for a solution and post it, even if it means I have to modify the software, feel free.

In general, the site does use a lot of popup overlays/windows/dialogs. I'm happy with the way those work in the browser. The mobile version is basically the exact same code running but CSS customized for the phone.

It works. I can tell you already, not to be a complainer but it's not as mobile friendly. Unless, I'm using it wrongly
