At the moment we have Lillard, CJ and Tim Frazier who are capable of dribbling. That's it. That's not really sustainable...

All they need to do is get the ball to LaMarcus most of the time.

That shouldn't be too hard.

Agreed. Let's hope we can get one to take our money, of which we still have plenty. I've advocated for CJ Watson for backup PG. KJ McDaniels is also still out there, but I haven't watched him, so I know nothing about his ball-handling ability.

Not many guys out there that can handle the ball in this FA class. We have to trade for someone likely. We also need some shooters.

dribbling is over rated..I have seen far too much pounding holes in the hard wood..teach them all to run and pass, first guy to the hoop gets the shot..

They do need another player that can handle/create. Aminu and Crabbe need to be working on their ball-handling skills big time this summer.

Yeah, with all the forwards on the team, our roster definitely feels unbalanced. We need to find a guard who can handle the rock, is a bit of a playemaker, and can shoot.

Vonleh has above average handles for a guy that big. But I think we're bringing him along slowly.

Tobias fits the bill.

As does jeremy Lin if you can get him on the cheap.

I'm sure it sounds crazy, but I really like Kendall Marshall. Great passer who couldn't defend and couldn't shoot coming out of college. Well, he's totally fixed his shot, he is a 3 point shooter now. Not sure of his defense. Played well for LAL before tearing his ACL. Could be had for nothing.

A great passer on a team with athletes is a good idea.

I was just about to come in here and suggest Lin. Of course, he may be the only PG in the league who's a worse defender than Lillard, so there's that...

Ish Smith, maybe?

I've always wanted him as our 3rd string PG. The guy can rack up assists! And if he can shoot now, all the better!

Marshall is a great passer who is slow as molasses and would get burned by Gheorge Muresan. He could play while CJ and Lillard are off the floor, but I was hoping for somebody a minimum of 6'4" who can also play some D.

Sounds like McDaniels is your guy then.

I believe Raymond Felton is available. I think I saw him the other day on a corner with a sign saying "Will play for donuts".

So I believe this is our depth chart right now:

PG: Lillard, _____, Frazier
SG: Henderson, CJ, Crabbe
SF: Aminu, ______, Pat
PF: Davis, Meyers, Vonleh
C: Plumlee, ____, Kaman

So ideally we would get:
1) A big PG and ball handler (Stuckey)
2) Another big SF/small PF who is flexible in positions (Harris / Casspi )
3) A light out shooter / ball handler (Gerald Green / Belineli)

I think Meyers fills in the blank backup C, too. Our frontline is pretty much set (imho).

I'd really like to add Marshall at backup PG. He's big enough at a little over 6'4" to be able to cover most SGs in the league, which gives him he ability to play alongside either Lillard or CJ, and allow them to play off the ball, but not have to guard SGs. He's got a good 3 point shot, and is a great assist guy, which would be big since nobody on our roster outside of CJ and Lillard currently can create a shot for themselves.

"Another" skill player? That would suggest we already have at least one....

(sorry Dame, but without LMA for the defense to focus on, your life is about to get miserable)
