Wow, Earl Watson sounds good. Crazy to hear a guy talk after only watching him play for years. Good get.

Updates would be appreciated, Im also at work.

Sounds like the Terrell kid will be given a shot to prove himself in summer league and make the roster, but Neil didnt sound too confident that they want him.

Neil's pre-smile routine is hilarious.

Good Ol' Channing Frye....Man he loves Portland

I like the players that Neil brought in this year. Seeing them lined up, holding their jerseys it really hit me hard just how damned awful last year's 6-10 really was

That's awesome!

Meyers not even allowed to compete for starting center

When can we pencil him in as a wasted draft pick? I remember fans saying we should give Babbitt and Nolan more time to prove themselves but you could tell from the get go they wouldn't ever be above average rotational players. Players like Webster, Aldridge and Batum showed glimpses their rookie years.

Bigs take longer. Can't write him off just yet.

Big men are a little bit different. Leonard has to show some improvement this year, but he won't be a complete write-off for at least another year (unless we see zero improvement in his court awareness and defensive rotations).

Meyers showed glimpses of a great offense, for a 20 year old that's pretty good

He had a 12.1 PER on 13.9 USG, showed a nice shooting touch, and had the best Ortg on the team. The people who expect him to be an elite starting center right off the bat are being unrealistic (and repetitive).

Per/36

11ppg
8rpg
1.2bpg
5 fpg

His percentages were great, and the guy played 17mpg, let's not act like he was a garbage time scrub or something...I contend he is right now one of the better centers (on offense) in the league

Hahaha
