Clingan has defensive potential, but to bring it out requires more than a bottom-10 NBA coach/system. He'll develop after he's a Blazer.

WNBA’s Kahleah Cooper and NBA’s Donovan Clingan open up about how they have been personally impacted by breast cancer. Dr. Susan Domchek speaks on the importance of genetic testing for prevention and early detection and TODAY’s Jill Martin shares her own journey and how it inspired her to team up her clothing brand with the NBA and WNBA to raise awareness.

The kid is only 20 years old and he seems to love the game. The kid has a super attitude and persona, always looks like he having fun. I see a kid that has the bb iq that will only excel his development into a force in the paint. I hope he watches a lot of Walton & Joker film as he has the capability to be a great passer like those two. The offense can run through him at the top like it did with Walton as he can pass & cut/roll to the hoop. And his defensive possibilities are even huge.

Strange thing, I had a dream last night that Sabonis was miraculously playing for our team again.

Let's hope that he stays healthy and continues to develop - he might end up being something special. We can only hope!

Clingan has been the biggest bright spot so far this year. Already he is clearly better than Scoot.

I wasn't high in taking him with the pick because a lumbering center isn't a type of players that is useful in the modern NBA. I accepted it though because there weren't any good options at #7 in that weak draft.

Him shooting 3s could be a game changer long term. Look how valuable it made an older Brook Lopez. Clingan is quicker than I thought and impactful inside right now which usually takes bigs longer to develop.

Sharpe injury, Scoot lack of improvement, not getting a future asset for our mediocre vets had me really down on this season. Clingan has been the one bright spot. He's basically the one player I'm really interested in watching until or if Sharpe gets healthy.

Sanogo is developing ahead of schedule in the Chicago Bulls system, putting up a monster performance this week for Chicago with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 blocks versus the Milwaukee Bucks.
In addition to their dominance around the rim, Both Clingan and Sanogo are shooting NBA threes with confidence.
