That's why Jerami has to play 48 minutes a nightIf he and Deni are both shooting the 3 ball close to 40%, Portland's 2024-5 tank won't work very well.

As pointed out in the video, Pippen had more "bounce", but he needed to have that since he was a poor 3 point shooter. TC is a so much better 3fg shooter.
Pippen: 32.6 3fg% (career)
TC: 34.8 3fg% (career)
TC : 35.6 3fg% (this season)
My guess is that he'll end his career somewhere between 36 and 38 3fg%.
Should point out, however, that Pippen was the main cog in the offense when Jordan was out. TC likely will never have this responsibility. However, with his much high 3fg%, he doesn't really need to.
Yep--in his two highest-volume seasons (96-97), Pippen was a 37% 3P shooter. Fair to assume he would have been there (or better) consistently if he'd come up in this era.it's always a little iffy comparing a 2nd year role player to a 6-time NBA champion and a 7 time all-star with 17 all-NBA awards; that's especially true when they are from different eras and that's definitely the case with this one
I'd say Toumani is a little bigger than Pippen; I'm not sure he's as long as Pippen or as quick. But Camara's lateral mobility is probably on par with Pippen
I don't believe comparing 3 point shooting is fair to Pippen at all. The NCAA didn't implement the 3 point shot till Pippen's senior season in college. Meaning all thru high school and his first 3 years in college Pippen wasn't even practicing shots behind a 3 point line. He shot a grand total of 40 three's in college; Camara shot 231. Camara has attempted 388 three's in less than 2 full seasons; Pippen attempted 30 fewer three's than that in his first 5 seasons. If you project Toumani till the end of the season, then in his college career + 2 NBA seasons, he'll have shot 730 three's. In Pippen's college career + first 2 NBA seasons, he shot 140; less than 1/5th of Camara's total
Camara has been practicing three's since grade school; Pippen started practicing when he was a college senior back when three's were not emphasized.
As for not being as aggressive as Pippen in some facets defensively, I imagine that changes if you look at Pippen at the same stage of his career. It takes time to earn a [positive] reputation with the refs and learn how much physicality you can get away with. Push that envelope too soon, and you end up with a negative rep.
Personally, I think Camara is as close to a mirror image of Pippen defensively as you can get from a unicorn. He's obviously nowhere near the offensive threat that Pip was, but no one's calling him a first ballot HOF'er yet, either.
That’s a dope nickname TOUChainz!

I’m stuck on what a “red@$$” is, sorry.Toumani and Deni are already looking like starters for 2025-2026.
Clingan is the heir apparent center? Does anyone expect Ayton to beat him next year and moving forward? Not me. And Ayton is pretty good, all things considered. He isn’t a red@$$. No hard hat and minus the passing and blocks.
Clingan is the heir apparent at center, and they have two REAL, positionally versatile forwards. This means the Blazers do NOT have positional need as much as usual heading into the draft. Scoot is looking significantly better than last year and the early part of this season. Sharpe has tools on O and needs to pick it up on D — especially his motor and “want to.”
The Blazers need a STAR (actually 2). Can one of the current young guys become that? I don’t know. Maybe.
Superstar? Less likely, to be blunt.
Tank/lose/play the young guys/load management … and pray to the basketball gods.

Guys with some attitude, intensity, physicality who will lay the wood — not dirty.
I started calling him The Hustle from Brussels.Better than my thought after the game: Ball Buster.
Dude is just growing in his impact every week. I am fully convinced that none of us have any idea what his actual ceiling is. So excited to see what he becomes.
Is it strange that I’m happy with ANYTHING he contributes on the offensive end. It’s all gravy!Dude is just growing in his impact every week. I am fully convinced that none of us have any idea what his actual ceiling is. So excited to see what he becomes.

All NBA. Hall of Fame. Basically the next Kawhi.Whats your guess? Surely not all nba right?
I don't know. Someone recently suggested Jimmy Butler as a comparison, and I'm beginning to think that's not completely far-fetched. Whatever his ceiling, I'm all in on him being a Blazer until he retires.Whats your guess? Surely not all nba right?
