Im in California visiting my grandparents, and we went out to eat dinner. I parked in the back of the restaurant because their are some good spaces back there, and I left my wallet in the cupholder. I went out back to drive around to pick up my grandparents and I noticed that the passenger side window is busted in (The car is a Lincoln Navigator). They took my wallet, and just ran im guessing. I left my $400 digital camera in a compartment, and luckily they didnt take that. I only had 6 dollars in my wallet (haha), but they got my drivers liscense so it might be hard for me to get back to Texas. This sucks...

Wow sorry man, that really sucks. Out of curiosity where in california do your grandparents live?

Yeah, man sh*t like that happens all the time...

Well that teaches you a lesson...always park inside the restaurant

Damn, sounds like bad things to come...... like UNC running over Durant and the Longhorns. haha

The real lesson is to always park close to the entrance. In front of a window of the restaraunt etc. Try to get a table in front of a window that outlooks your parking spot.

Well you don't really need a license unless you're planning on getting pulled over... so just don't get pulled over.

They live in Palm Desert California....Right outside of Palm Springs. Its a really nice area...My grandfather said that he parks back there all the time...

Better to be safe than sorry.

The cop said that it would be best to call the airline or whatever, tell them the circumstance, and if I could get a birth certificate or something, that it would probably be ok.

I don't why some people just don't leave their wallet in their back pocket........ and if you don't why leave it in plain sight...............

It's America, no suprise! lol jks...u will make it back 2 texas with out any problems .. I think.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I don't why some people just don't leave their wallet in their back pocket........ and if you don't why leave it in plain sight...............</div>Eh someone had to bust through a car window to get it. What I don't get is someone busting a window just to get a wallet.

But Yeah, sorry about the situation ballerman, that has to suck. Hopefully you recover your license and they don't seek you out for ripping them off on their successful robbery.

you reported it though so hopefully they'll find seomthing.

I was wearing basketball shorts without pockets. I ussually always have my wallet in my backpocket. I flew up here obviously from San Antonio, but they had to see my liscense for identification or something.

Losing your wallet sucks, 2 days ago I lost my wallet (not sure where) with my police ID, D.L., social security card, 2 credit cards and $30. :no1:

^I wasnt expecting anybody to break the car window to get to my wallet....haha. I have left my wallet in my cupholder plenty of times back in Texas. And I thought, this is a really nice area and the population is made up of 50% senior citizens....whats the worst that could happen? haha Although, it could have been worse. I had my digital camera in the center piece compartment. I got lucky...

ATTN: ballermanMost people outside Texas are dicks. That is all.Your friend, Justice

^Seriously dude. Nothing like this would ever happen in my hometown. That is probably why I just left it there. I didnt even think about that...

College Station is pretty good depending on what part you leave something out. One time I left a pair of pants at the rec center in the morning... went back about 4 hours later, and it was still sitting there, folded.
