Yeah! He has feeling in his toes again!

That was a good interview, glad to hear Wes is on the mend.

Re: Thank you Ben Golliver for something blazer player related

I called Golliver a punk, so his 2 fans emerged from the woodwork. I have nothing against the guy; he's an ambitious babyface breaking into his new profession by experimenting with a crusty writing persona.

Here he goes on Wesley Matthews with his usual slant against Paul Allen and against playing outside of the good old US of A (harumph...outrageous...how can anyone think of such a thing?).

He also had no desire to comment on Portland's GM position, which remains open after two former GMs -- Kevin Pritchard and Rich Cho -- were fired in an 11-month timespan.

Matthews says his playing overseas is "in the cards" if the season doesn't happen.

The threat of injury and the possibility that he could jeopardize his future earnings will not factor into his thought process...So here he came, to an industrial gymnasium in the shadow of the replica Eiffel Tower, near the splash zone of the Bellagio fountains.

I'm no neurologist, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say regaining feeling in your toes after months of numbness is probably a good thing for a player.

Oregonlive's message boards? Hardly.

I still get confused how those threads work over there! It's like a long line of different posts...... This place is way more organized and easier to use for us non-computer geek types.

Wes was stocky to begin with. Uh oh! Here come the Wes is fat routine from the Blazer faithful.

So this year it's Wes who's putting on the 25# of muscle?

We'll have the fattest backcourt in the league! Fatty Felton and Massive Matthews, spelled by Rotund Roy.
