This is still driving me crazy. We absolutely pissed that game away.
I forgot who said it, but it was something along the lines of “this kind of thing doesn’t happen in Portland, home teams find a way to close tight games out.”

Why do we keep letting Green sprint right to the fucking hoop
Because it’s Draymond Green and not Steph or Klay ... its almost like a good strategy is to find the most psychologically fragile player on the other team, give him free reign so he feels invincible, then let him shoot his team in the foot.

So happy for Meyers
I’m probably the biggest Stotts critic on this forum but I’ll give props to Coach Stotts for the brilliance of putting Meyers into the starting lineup today. He’s quicker than Kanter in switching the screens, a better all around screen setter, and stretches the defence with his 3pt shooting. A nice counter move to GSW going with their small ball lineup. Well done. I never thought I’d be saying this in the WCF, but hope Meyers can keep it up in the second half! Where @swish3 at?!?!

Our bench are playing well and giving their all, they just need their leader to close this out. Let’s Go Dame!

Blazers defense is to clamp on Curry and Klay and let the others try to beat them. Working so far. Kerr is great at adjustments which is why the 3rd quarter has always been good for us. Let's see how it goes.

Refs are going to hammer us this half. Not necessarily with phantom calls, but they are going to let the warriors get away with murder on defense like last game.

Blazers will be ready for it

Am I really watching Meyers Leonard dominate a WCF game?

In the one game we beat Warriors in playoffs (2016), Dray hit like 8 threes.

For the first time everytime Lillard touches the ball I feel that it's going to be a turnover or a brick - the same feeling one gets when Turner is on the floor.

He's playing like he's intimidated.

IMO He's playing like a converted Muslim that's fasting all day long.

You know, whenever I get down on our team... I think, hey... we are in the final 4, no matter what happens this is something we can build on as a team. Stay positive, folks.

I think he's letting their trapping speed him up too much. Just slow down and read the floor and make them pay. Don't have to run into the trap full speed and try to split it every time. You can pass before the trap gets there and catch them mid rotation. It's what they do to us. But he needs his teammates to be moving sooner than they are off the ball. If they just stand there the defense can deny them 1 pass away or recover to stop them.
