Should the Blazers move Seth into the starting line-up?

It’s not that we need more shooters in the starting line up.

It’s that we need more ball handlers in the starting line up. We’re stiff and limited out there.

Yes. When you look at the lineup and Turner is the best, or even 2nd best, playmaker on the floor....yikes!

May 29, 1977.
I was there. Game 3.
It was loud.
You should study up.
I'm sure it was, nor did I ever say it wouldn't be loud tonight. The 76ers hadn't won 3 out of the previous 4 championships either. Some series there is a greater chance to come back from than others. Can we still do it, yes! It will be incredibly difficult though.

You can't deny the human nature element of a crowd. If we were going into this game tied 1-1 then people would be so much more hyped and pumped for this game. I still think it will be super loud but with more of a nervous energy than pandemonium. I'm not trying to diminish anyone's belief of a comeback in this series but it's a little too rosy of an outlook to say it lost a slight amount of luster than had we won.

It doesn't matter what other forums choose to do. This forum has always been open to anyone, Blazers fan or not, as long as they follow the rules.
And itll be a crappier place because of it.

True. I usually don't have to since I'm accustomed to dealing with adults who have class and intelligence.
But I'm learning you're a "special" case.
I dont need to hear about your issues.

So is Aminu starting tonight or is Stotts going to balls up and start Collins?

No one player in the league (outside of Harden and maybe Kawhi) shoulders more of a load on offense than Dame.

You know who I really missed last night? Aldridge. I was looking at Dame highlights from 2014 earlier and he had so much space to work with. He's so much better now there's no way teams could sell out on him the same way they do these days if Aldridge was in the pick and roll.

Dom Dom Dommmmm.
I felt obligated to reply to these posts since my name was called 3x lol. In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind Aldridge returning at all. I just don't have the same animosity towards him unlike a lot of the fans too which is understandable. Aldridge would definitely be one of those missing pieces as he'd be upgrade at the #4. I remembered him saying he'd like to reunite with Portland, but IDK if that was just talk.

I dont need to hear about your issues.
The Great Philosopher Plato once said something that reminds me of you:
"Admittance of intelligence, is the assurance of ignorance"...
And this Asian Proverb:
"It is a fool who chatters, but a wise man who listens.."
Lighten up man, for you fail to see through the eyes of perception.
(that one was mine...)

I dont need to hear your preachin' either.

I went to a game several years ago and we were playing Houston in the playoffs and down 0-2 in a best of 5 series so it was a must win situation and the crowd was as loud as I had ever heard it. The fans will likely be into it no matter what.

Yes, but simply being an opposing team's fan and discussing the game/series isn't trolling. Obviously fans of other teams are going to have opinions that are different from Blazers' fans opinions, and probably unpopular here--that doesn't make it trolling.

Reminds me of superbeard. He was a great poster from the rockets fanbase and there was great discussion during the playoff series.

I hate most houston fans, but that person was good people.

We let that last game slip away at the end and the Warriors stole game 2 on their home floor. Time to defend our home court, take this series back to Cali. with a 2-2 tie. Go Blazers! :smiley-family:

Article in today's SF Chronicle about Klay Thompson growing up a Blazers fan. The Thompson family lived right by Rasheed Wallace and the boys played with Sheed's kids. Might explain why Sheed was Klay' s favorite Blazer. Talked about how upset he was after Game 7 of 2000 WCF.

All the hoopla about Dame' s Oakland ties but little about Thompson's Portland ties.

Fans of other teams have no place here. This is a Blazers forum. Try to go on other teams' forums as a Blazer fan and see what happens.
So in other words if I go as a Warriors fan to a Blazer game I should accept abuse? It's discussion. It can be cordial and discussing a sport we love as a whole. Why do I like going to other forums? Because it's a lot better than just hearing "yes men" agreeing with you whereas you can get some objective feedback by others who aren't fans. You do have the choice to ignore the post right?

Look...i dont get why he's here but he has a right and you have an obligation to be civil.
But here's the deal...
I think every fan of every team wants to experience what Rip City is...
Can you blame them?
We're the best that's why he's here.
If you look at my previous posts from when I joined, it was also to discuss playoff games with the Blazers. We lose a game, I don't complain, I discuss what both teams may have done good or bad to deserve the win.

Hey man...I'm your biggest supporter. I think its cool what your doing and especially how you're going about your business.
My apologies for the way the self appointed St. Peter welcomed you.

Thanks man. Win or lose tonight, forums like this make the game more fun. Last game I was anxious as hell even in the fourth till we went up 3 in the last few seconds. That was a great game!
