There was a weird exchange where CJ missed 2 of 3 free throws but Curry gets a rebound and finds CJ wide open in the corner and he misses badly.
That kind of thing is what was happening tonight.
I just can't Blame Damian Lillard for that???? Curry missing two wide open looks at the end. Meyers missed his wide open look. Turner throws the ball straight up and looks at the ref?

No its not “all” on Dame, but he is the leader isnt he? He’s 5-18, has 6assists 5, turnovers and he’s getting blasted by Steph. Dame pretty much wrecked Westbrook and Steph is doing the same thing to him now.
His body language has been really bad too, and if you want to talk about being a leader and all the stuff the franchise has built around him as a great leader then he’s got to lead when the play the best team in the world, not just hope he gets calls, keep playing bad defense, and basically look like he’s quit.
I have a huge amount of respect for Dame, but he has played 2 good games since the OKC series at least shooting wise, in this series he’s got more turn overs then made FG’s, he’s been awful and while he’s a huge reason why they got to the WCF he’s also a big reason why they have given up huge leads two games in a row. When another team makes a run, you know who’s job it is to respond??? IT’s HIS JOB.
Again its definitely not all on him, but Im telling you he’s looking a lot more like Westbrook this series than looking like Steph. Id be good with it if he just looked like Dame, but he doesnt look like that either.
