The very best part of this? There's a certain Turncoat in Texas that is gonna have to sit on his couch and has to watch the team he thought didn't have a chance of getting to the Western Conference Finals. Unlike the team he decided to go to where this Texas Turncoat was going to win multiple Championships. Turning his back on his former one. He thought he had made the right decision but he was wrong.

This might be extremely bitter to some of you, but I don't care.
Oh no it's not bitter at all. The only thing i might be bitter about is that i didn't post this first!

Oh, if we're going there, I'd just like to bask in the glory of being one of the few who said "goodbye and good riddance - we'll be better without you!"

I think Kanter could be huge these 2 first games, I don’t think Draymond or Looney can stop him on the block. Hopefully Cousins doesn’t come back.

Not the boldest prediction I've made but without KD and Boogie, we're in great position to win both games 1 and 2. Then we only have to win one of our home games to take an almost insurmountable lead. If we win game three we'll be up 3-0 and that's never been overcome. I really think this series is ours to win. I can just taste the finals. Go Blazers!!!

More fun facts:
Lillard has never lost a game 6 in the playoffs.
Lillard has never lost a game 7 in the playoffs.

So, all we have to do is win 2 of the first 5 games, and we're into the finals :)
I remember listening to that jerk, Kevin mchale and they brought up how blazers never lost a series going 2-1 in the playoffs. It feels like they were jinxing us. But then it worked out.

Fuck man..... I had no idea Ramadan lasts until June.

Also, one explanation for Kanter's play dropping off a bit, he's not allowed to use medication as well as food/water. That means he was playing through 100% of the pain.
I'm sure essential oils don't count. So Kanter was fine. /S

Cousins will get in foul trouble with Kanter because he looks real slow since that Achilles injury.

Kerr saying more likely cousins won't be ready for this series. Also Durant still having trouble with his so more likely will be out of game 2 too.

It’ll be interesting to see who guards Klay. Moe was guarding Murray a bunch, but from what I remember CJ always guarded Klay. Hopefully that changes with KD out and Moe draws the assignment instead.

I’m also gonna guess they will dare Draymond to beat them again, especially now that Portland has Kanter instead of Nurkic. On the other side of the ball I know Draymond is an elite defender, but there’s no way he will be able to guard Kanter in the post, or keep him off the boards. He couldn’t handle Nurkic either, and Kanter is more skilled in post ups (not a knock on Nurk, Kanter is just elite in that regard.) Looney doesn’t stand a chance either. That’s the biggest matchup in the series with KD out, and I don’t hear anyone in the national media talking about it. They’re going to be forced to play Bogut more than they’d like.

Do I think Portland can win the series? Yes. Do I think Portland will win the series? Honestly, no. Experience still matters, and there’s not much anyone can do when they’re on. Do I think it’ll be closer than people think though? Yes.

If Kanter were healthy (or even just able to eat/drink) I think he could pose some real problems. But with both his shoulder and inability to eat/drink, I think his offense will continue to be shaky. Also, Green is going to go at his shoulder harder than Jokic ever did - all we can hope is that they call flagrant when it happens (they won't).
