Can't wait for the season to get here already!

After a summer of plenty of activity, many of the NBA’s Western Conference lineups have been shaken up like a good martini.

For an educated opinion on which teams benefited the most by offseason moves, I sought out one-time Trail Blazer guard Steve Kerr, who offers expert analysis for TNT.

Kerr’s first mention was Portland and Houston. “Those are the two that jump out at me,” he says.

Portland General Manager Neil Olshey, as those of us in the Moda City know, acquired a defensive presence as starting center — Robin Lopez — along with veterans Mo Williams, Dorell Wright, Thomas Robinson and Earl Watson fortified what a year ago was in the conversation for the worst bench in recent NBA history.

“I love what Neil has done, adding the firepower off the bench,” Kerr says. “That’s pretty significant improvement. The Blazers have a chance to be a lot better.”

wtf is moda city? Shameless drop to appease the new sponsor? Sick.

This is Portland Fucking Oregon. That's the Rose Fucking Garden. End of story.

Seriously? You guys didn't get the joke? It wasn't a shameless plug, he was taking a subtle shot at the Blazers for changing the Rose Garden.

Isn't Detroit the "Moda" City? That's how they pronounce it in Boston, anyhow.

Still holds. It's a joke that it's called the moda center.

So, I am right. :)

Great thing about "Moda" is that there is both an "O" and a "D" in the name, so whichever aspect of our team's game is performing poorly, Mediocre Man will be able to replace one of those letters with his trademark underscore.

I thought it was a funny poke at the Blazers.

I thought it was pretty clever. I don't think he was taking a poke at the Blazers as much as a poke at the fans getting all upset about the name change. Almost all arenas now use sponsor names that at first sound stupid, so it would be idiotic to flip the Blazer's shit about it.

Exactly. Which one is more gay. that's the one I will replace

Mediocre Man finally confesses he wants to "replace" gays.
We're here, we're queer, get used to it.

I don't think you did, but I really hope you saw that as a humorous post because of all your ridiculous outrage in the OT section
