We weren't going to win this series against GS anyways. They are a vastly superior team in every way. That's why they're #1.

It just hurts that we get all the way to the WCFs just to meet a generational team. If this was any other WC team, it wouldn't be so bad. But instead, it's a team that will define the league for the next decade or more.

It fucking sucks. I'd be open to forming a super team just to beat those goddamn snowflakes in Oakland.
Just better coach and the warriors show they been here a few times. Experience is the number 1 killer against a team hasn't.

scrolling on r/nba, this comment fucked me even more, sad reality

You gotta feel bad for Blazer fans at this point

Terry Stotts is literally dumber than dogshit

And if that's not bad enough, they've been burning $40M in cap space each year on Turner, Leonard, and Harkless

And the icing on the cake you wonder?... Well, they're also going to lose Hood, Kanter, and Curry this offseason since they don't have the Bird rights on any of them nor the cap space

We're used to it

I hate Neil Olshey so much. We would HAVE cap space if it wasn't for idiotic contracts with Turner and Leonard.

What that game shows us is that we can win this series. They gave everything they had and came out on top. We weren't playing our best and almost stole one on the road. I expect us to dominate at home the way they did game one. There's no reason to be down right now, a series doesn't start until someone loses on their home court. We got this. Go Blazers!!!

Blazers would have to win 4 of 5 games...against the champs...who have their playoff mojo down well. That's a monumentally tall order

I think it will be a major challenge to win both games in Portland

The refs fouled him out in like 8 minutes.

c'mon man...maybe one bogus call but the rest were legitimate. Collins has to stop trying to block every shot inside of 10'. He was useless tonight

Denver and GS found out how to defend Lillard.

He hasn't had a decent game since game 5 against OKC.

that's bullshit...he had a decent game tonight 23 points on 16 shots, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. He's been doubled and trapped for 9 consecutive games now; same thing happened last year, and the year before, and the year before. Somebody besides Dame has to be responsible for making a team pay for constant doubles and traps on the perimeter and that starts with coaching, which in my view has failed to find a solution. For the most part, Portland sucks at hockey assists and that what you need to develop against a trapping defense.

The real difference in the game was 3 times we fouled Curry shooting a 3. 9 free throws. Can't jump at him. If they even come close they are calling a foul, Dame on the other hand can be floored and there is no foul.

That Turner one was bullshit though. Curry jumped into him.

We just lost a game by 3 points where we didn’t get a foul call the last 7:42 of the game. It’s not the outcome we wanted but we showed we can hang and make this an actual series

The slowmo of that last play:

*a lot of contact leading up to the strip

*The strip itself was clean.

Nice Job scheduling all the games at 6 so Kanter is useless
Yep it was pretty obvious both Kanter and Aminu cannot play in the second half of games. They were both completely out of sync for the third quarter.
IMO that is what cost the Blazers this game. By the time the second timeout was called in 2 mins the lead was all but gone.
It would be no better with Nurkic because he can't eat or drink either.

I kind of hope the warriors start talking shit and thinking they have this won. Give us some extra motivation to punch them in the mouth and show we deserve to be here.

I getting to think he might have to with Zach and Leonard in the middle. Yes Kanter grab few rebounds but his defense been non existent this series.

Fireable quote right there. "Didn't really know what to do." Good grief!
He couldn't answer Kerry's question about what play it was because he didn't call a play. He said there wasn't enough time.
