Anyone else excited for the Scars on Broadway album? I used to be into System of a Down but after Toxicity my interest faded somewhat because it all felt the same. They've still maintained their status as a very good modern band but it just gets a little tiring and isn't too diverse IMO. So anyway Serj Tankien came out with his new CD which is solid (but, again sounds EXACTLY like a SoD album). So I hear this song on the radio, after it was played the radio DJ says it was Scars on Broadway which is the band that the guitarist of System of a Down, Daron Malkian, created. I guess this guy was also the main songwriter for System of a Down as well. I believe this is the only single they've released so far, I really like it. Kind of like SoaD but the guy's voice is a lot different and the sound is more unique. Still rocks hard but at least its some variety from the typical SoaD sound.
