What do you agree/like about George Bush?

Everyone it seems dislikes Bush, bashing him is now as American as apple pie and rock and roll. But I'm wondering, what do you guys like about him? Thought this would be a change of pace from most topics.

I like that he sticks to his beliefs(even when they're wrong) and doesn't waiver. I absolutly hate Politicians who are as fickle as the the wind.

I hate his immigration policy most of all.I like that he doesn't care what others think about him and says what's on his mind.

I like one of his daughters. Also, he must have a clean bunghole. The hands that have been up there haven't even been taken out to be washed.I admire the fact that he has this impenetrable barrier around his syntax that is so obvious nobody bothers to question it. The title of this great stand-by is, "I don't want to send the wrong message." It deflects everything, and immediately drains any media intelligence in the room.

By that I mean he doesn't waiver in what he believes is right for America. such as the war in Iraq, he keeps saying to "steer the corse". I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows more about it than we do. but a lot of politicians would be changing strategies whenever "popular war stopped advancing". He's also stuck to his guns on issues such as Gun Control, Abortion, and gay marriage. The way I phrased by sentence was just stupid.

This thread was destined to go nowhere. When it comes to Bush you pretty much have 3 groups. 1. Those who like him2. Those who hate him3. Those who aren't smart enough to form their own opinions so they steal someone else's.Too bad most of America falls under group #3

Bush sucks. I've hated him since day one. I didn't just jump on the bandwagon, he cheated in the first election, and brainwashed people into voting him this past election.He blows, hes one of the worst we've ever had.

How did he cheat in the first election? the Constitution says that the winner of the election is the winner of the electoral college, not the popular vote. the person who has become president has lost the popular vote many time, and yet this is the only election which is refered to as being rigged. the 1877 election isn't even mentioned when people talk about corrupt elections, and it was the only election in our nations history which is corrupted. The voting in florida was F*cked up, but florida had problems in previous elections and it was never fixed. but that is not Bush's fault, it's not Al Gores fault, and it's not even Ralph Naders fault. the people who should be held accountable for that are those in charge of the elections in the state of Florida. That ballot box from Miami-Dade county shouldn't have been allowed in the counting, under no circumstance should a ballot box be put into a truck of a unsecure car. Having a revote wouldn't be fair either, because if you were to do it in one state, you'd have to do it all the other 49.Bush won in 2004 because he did prove he was a somewhat capible leader during 9/11. in one of the few times in his presidentcy he handeled it right, and because John Kerry was a weak opponent. had the Democrates had a better challenger, that person would have wiped the floor with Bush. The Republicans threw the Gay rights smoke screen out there to avoid confrontations about the Iraq War, and the Democrats went right for it. I'm not saying Bush is a great leader, but he isn't a horrible leader either. He's president during one of the most difficult times in our nations history, and he's facing a lot of issues which are not his fault. he didn't create the recession, or 9/11 ect. But at the same time he hasn't made it easier for himself either; something like 180 out of the 194 countries on this planet have an unfavory view of the US; which is up from 75 of 192 during Clintons administration. He's completly F*cked up in Iraq, and his fighting with congress is going to hurt this country.

If those people hadn't been disenfranchised then Gore would have almost certainly won the election.

The "Coalition of the willing" that Bush claimed would sent troops along with the U.S., yet America has thousands more troops in Iraq than any other country in the "Coalition of the willing". You are right, I should have elaborated my point because it goes beyond weapons of mass destruction. The overall costs of this invasion weigh out the results by a landslide. Bush had no plans of what to do after Sadaam was taken out of power and now we are stuck with a country in complete turmoil with thousands of Americans faced with being sitting ducks for roadside bombers and all of the guerilla warfare that goes on in Iraq. He really had no legitimate reasoning for entering Iraq other than speculation. The whole Bush Administration including Powell and Wolfowitz all agreed that weapons of mass destruction was a universal reason for entering Iraq.That Mission Accomplished display on the USS Abraham Lincoln was one of the most pathetic displays I have ever seen. Yeah Sadaam is out of power but now you have dismantled a countries government and half of the country wants to kill American soliders. 73% of the deaths in Iraq have occured after the mission was supposively accomplished.
