"Take care of business"?

McMillan says it all the time in relation to winning games.

It seems a bit vague, if not cliché to me. Is there anything to it, though?

"THE"?

“It’s a (the Clippers) game that we want to get. We want to continue to play well and take care of business there,” McMillan said. “We know (Blake and Outlaw) will be excited to play against us. And we have Camby going down, to play against his old team. ... We want to do down there and get this game.”

It means Nate is a big fan of BTO

I don't think it's a code or anything. It's pretty straight forward, get the job done............. handle your business! Get a W!

These guys are paid to stay in shape, stay in front of their man, rebound, make open shots, and in some cases, carry the team during tough stretches. They're paid to do those things. So do it, dammit.

I believe that's how hookers refer to blowjobs.

Hmmm ... in my experience, 'taking care of business' has always been a euphimism for heading to the john to take a dump ...

We're now dissecting the meaning of a very straightforward example of "coach speak" that almost every coach uses. Thank God there is a game tonight.

You know, taking care of business. Also known as the opposite of what the bench has been doing.
