OT What has really been going on with Markelle Fultz?

Darkwebs could say trade Dame for Lonzo and I still couldn't be mean to him. His the GPOAT for RC2. HCPs jealous! Shameful!

I was just kidding. @HCP has had Darkwing in the broadcast truck before and was very gracious.

I'm about as mean as you are. But its over stuff like people being smart asses or sarcastic or putting words into my mouth. You're the only one who's complained about me lately John. Thing is I work on trying to be more polite because people have brought it up and I don't want to make this place negative.

You try and start drama with me. Where were guy when Julius said the same thing I just did? Oh yeah, nowhere. But you single me out. Alright dude. Have a good night John.
I don't know what's going on but that's a great post, BJ.

I saw Darkwebs out there at 5 am, huddling in the cold, but my truck could only hold 9 of them.

I just watched every Fultz video I could find from college to recent practice videos and my conclusion is he’s gonna be a stud. He’s hurt, shoulder injuries take awhile. I tweaked my shoulder at the gym 4 months ago and it’s still messed up. I think he coulda changed his form because he was feeling pressure to get out there and it just made things worse. An off-season of rehab and getting the shoulder right to where he can shoot with his natural motion without any pain is all he needs. Now the free throw thing is a different story, it’s ALL mental.

You've been mean to @Darkwebs and his wonderful game threads.
You are incorrect. That is called tough love, which will only make him better at his craft. Ask him. And like I said son, he actually LIKES my posts cracking on him. Nice try cracker-jack.

Oh Jinx thought that was a “great” post and YOU liked it? Ya, you want THAT guy agreeing with you on anything. #64Wins #WarriorsAreTrash

@ me. There's basketball and then there's drama. Did Kingspeed play basketball or act in the drama show of my namesake?

Pretty sure he did both. One more professionally than the other, of course.

Suppose Philly decided to cut bait on Fultz. What's a potential trade that would suit both parties? My guess: a trade with a lottery team for a solid 3-and-D type in his mid-20s. Tim Hardaway Jr, maybe? Does he play D? He's overpaid, though. TJ Warren, perhaps? Will Barton, maybe?

Did you notice his toes on the foul shot? He is shooting on an absence of support.
Your shot starts at the feet, extends through the knees before the arms can release and you can eye the ball into the rim center.

Is Joel Embiid a bust? He seems like a steal of that draft to me !!!
Think of some of the guys selected in that draft. Jabari Parker, Dante Exum, Noah Vonleh, Julius Randle ...
Jusuf Nurkic is the 2nd best player in that draft of 2014?

Denver had a really good draft that year. They traded McDermott for Nurkic and Gary Harris. Then they took Nikola Jokic with their 2nd round pick. Other than Jamal Murray showing some potential their drafts since have been really bad including Emmanuel Mudiay, Malik Beasley, and trading Donovan Mitchell at this last draft.

Looks like he's coming back tonight.

I'm pulling for this kid.

I love an underdog though and he has been killed by the media and fans despite his draft spot/hype.

Right now I just hope Fultz is better free throw shooter than Lonzo Ball.
Granted the bar isn't set too high.

TJ Warren is about the worst fit you could find next to Simmons.

BTW, concerning Ball's FT shooting - he is currently on pace to have the worst FT% of any non-center in the entire 70+ year history of the NBA. He is currently at .449 FT%. The only players who have ever shot worse from the FT line are:

DeAndre Jordan
Ben Wallace
Wilt Chamberlain
Andre Drummond

.449 is hideous for anyone, but especially for a guard. Not even Shaq (career worst .464) or Dwight Howard (career worst .489), two big men that were often targeted for hacking due to their poor FT shooting, were ever that bad.

BTW, you've heard of the 50/40/90 club. Ball, at .352/.302/.449 is on the verge of creating his own new, exclusive 35/30/45 club. In the entire history of the NBA, no one has ever had a worse shooting season than Lonzo ball is currently having, and it's surprisingly not even close. Ben Wallace, not known for his shooting touch, comes closest at .463/.116/.428 and even then, he shot over 10 percentage points higher from the field than Ball is.

Is this what @HCP was referring to when he said he thought Ball would be a "special player"?

What are your parameters, such as minimum minutes? Many guys play one game for the season and shoot 0 for 1.

Setting it at 2000 minutes, I get 5 players. (Take out Ben Wallace, and 200-pound Lorenzo Williams because that season he played center for the injured Tarpley, but include Dale Davis who was a forward alongside Rik Smits).

Set it at 2600 minutes and you're right.
