OT What if he was black??

The only reason I got reminded of this case is because of the mcgregor post. I was like oh shit this would be good in dviss thread. I mean it just goes to show that unfortunately a lot of cases are about status and the lawyers you have. This whole “if he was black” shit is just divisive horse shit. Cherry picking cases. Well I just named one and dviss will probably never address it and that’s fine. It’s like when I watched making a murderer. I don’t know if Steven Avery did it but they fucked that kid over. White poor kid, also with a learning disorder. Brendan dassey or whatever. So there are two cases I just threw in if a white kid being thrown in jail for life for some bullshit, basically a forced confession of some shit that didn’t happen and Jon Jones, a very successful black athlete and fighter who got off with only 18 months probation. It all varies. It’s not black or white.

Lol at the getting shot comment. Yeah I know right. Obviously.
Logically it goes...

1. Rich and white
2. Rich and not white
3. Poor and white
4. Poor and not white

Assuming you get a middle aged white judge that is

There are so many factors involved. I don’t think most people understand.

Everybody knows black guys get fucked over. I never said they didn't.

I'm just not going to accept any example as typical. Especially from Texas.

Here is an article that says black judges get overturned more and at the very end TELLS YOU FUCKING WHY!

They say on one hand that Garland would rule on the law and only the law then at the end the Supreme Court isn't diverse enough because they're backgrounds would be different and basically that would make them rule differently.

The idea that one's culture or upbringing should change their rulings needs to die quickly.

I'll keep this thread going by myself. Great thread.

Kill a guy by throwing a sandbag off an overpass and get therapy! Nice

I worked with a guy at Tektronix who's daughter was murdered by a 15 year old kid. He came to the door with a hockey stick wanting to go play hockey with her brother. The brother wasn't home and neither was anyone else. The murderer was offended by something she said because apparently she didn't like this kid. He beat her to death with his hockey stick. The killer got put in JDH until he turned 18 at which time his record was erased. Talk about injustice.

Did you remember him and check to see if he killed again?

Kid should have been sent to a prison camp until he offed himself. No release.

No, I quit Tek and went to work in St. Louis. Lost track. I did go to the sentencing to show support for his guy's tragic loss. He was one of the best engineer's at Tektronix. He got divorced shortly after the sentencing which I think was due to the strain of the whole ordeal. A great tragedy and I'm thankful something like that has never happened to me or any of my loved ones.

Side note: God bless you for what you do for Veterans. It touches my heart to hear that.

The hard part is when they have Laker stickers on their car. I still do the extra stuff begrudgingly.

Yeah, that kind of tragedy would strain anyone I bet.

Surely you remove the Lakers sticker as part of the repair process, though?

Not that I recall, I'd remember that. Usually they are on the windows. Seen a bumper sticker or two and some license plate frames.

Crystal Mason, an African-American woman in Texas, served 3 years on fraud charges (unlike Trump!). She was unaware, and her probation supervisor did not tell her, that being on community supervision meant she could not vote and tried to cast a ballot in the 2016 election. The ballot was not counted. Ms. Mason said the hardest thing she ever endured was being separated from her two children and never wanted to risk that again, she had just made a mistake. But she was convicted of felony vote fraud and sentenced to five years imprisonment.

Rosa Maria Ortega is a Latina legal permanent resident in Texas. She mistakenly thought that as a legal permanent resident she could vote in elections. Ms. Ortega was sentenced to eight years imprisonment for felony vote fraud. A felony conviction means she will be lose her legal status and be deported on release although she has lived in the U.S. since she was an infant.

Steve Curtis, a white male and the chair of the Colorado State Republican Party, signed his ex-wife's ballot. He got four years probation.

Terri Lynn Rote, a white woman in Iowa, admitted voting for Trump twice. She said she was convinced a rigged system would change her Trump vote to a Clinton vote so voted twice. She got two years probation and a small fine; the conviction will be removed from her record after the two years.

White Republican privilege.

No sympathy at all for her. A major criminal who stole millions from American Taxpayers.

Previous conviction

Mason, then known as Crystal Mason-Hobbs, pleaded guilty in federal court in 2011 to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States.

According to court records, while owning and operating a tax preparation business in Everman, Mason and her then-husband, Sanford Taylor Hobbs III, inflated tax refunds claimed on behalf of clients.

She was sentenced in March 2012 by U.S. District Judge John McBryde to five years in federal prison and three years of supervised release. She also was required to pay more than $4.2 million in restitution. Her husband, from whom she is now divorced, also pleaded guilty in the case and received a similar sentence.

If I were walking North starting at Madison on SW6th Ave. in Portland, pointing that thing at people, I would expect to be shot before I reached Burnside.

Portland has strict unconstitutional laws that prohibit carrying a gun in any manner in the city limits, so OBVIOUSLY YOU WILL NEVER BE SHOT IN PORTLAND.

Okay, I'm gonna have to ask you to quit posting crap like this. People are going to think you don't like people of another color.

Pointing out hypocrisy isn't proof someone doesn't like other races. Not in the slightest.

Our justice system is ridiculous and nobody cares unless it is a rich white kid that gets away with something.

His distaste for people of different skin colors is long and famous and if he persists I will turn him in. I don't go for that shit, not ever,.

Whole row of white guys saying no such thing as racism.

Two Black men wait for a friend in Starbucks. Get arrested.

I have on numerous occasions gone to meet a friend at a restaurant, sat down, told server I'm expecting a friend. When they ask if I'd like to order anything while waiting I usually say no, I'll wait until friend gets here.

White privilege is when you don't even realize something is white privilege.

A. Nobody said there's no such thing as racism.
B. This is a perfect example of you cherry picking. Is there new video of EVERY SECOND that these guys were in the store? No? Yeah, then you don't know shit about it do you?

Hey EVERYONE Mexicans are all racist against whites. I got thrown out of a Metro PCS store 7 years ago by a Mexican guy who wouldn't close my account when I told him to.

He kept trying to get me to stay with Metro PCS and I snapped at him "for the last time just cancel my fucking account"

He told me he didn't have to take abuse from me and I had to leave. Fucker was lucky my wife was there and calmed me down.

We left as I was told and I didn't go to jail. Hmmmm

She never addressed anything we said on this whole entire thread. Just that we apparently think racism doesn’t exist. Lol

The nba is totally racist. You know how I know? Mostly black players. Big conspiracy to keep the white dudes out. Definitely racist, definitely should go and protest now

Was the Starbucks employee that told them to leave racist? Probably. 75/25 a racist? I don't know.

I do know that if you so much as roll your eyes at a low level employee these days they go crazy. I wasn't there and I don't know. I do know that the cops did their job perfectly.

Nah, the NBA is the closest thing to a Meritocracy we have. I think the white Americans have some mental block or they'd do better.
