Ha! My turn again!!!

View attachment 22170

See what we have in the Columbia River. Jim Crow! Pt., Sands, Creek.
Yes these were named after a black man but as I understand it, the name wasn't a bad thing then.
Now the liberals busting a gut to clean out the name in Washington, but they can get it off the chart.
The sand are in Oregon and nobody wants to spend money on frivolity.

Did you protest Jim Crow?

misunderstandings of the other person's posts...on both sides.
Oh no! No misunderstanding on my part. The Muslims accept the Torrah. In my view they have doubled down on the teachings of Mosaic law, as apposed to Christianity and the teachings of Jesus. While Jesus reform the Jewish Mosaic teaching to a great degree, the Muslims' reform took to it even stronger than the Jews. You see it in the Quran and the Hadiths of Mohammad.

The trail was not the difficult. Perhaps the clues were mislaid, but that was the trail.

And @riverman if you thought this thread was made to garner new info to actually listen to and care about, you're sadly mistaken.
no dviss...I thought this thread was a great opportunity to shine light on a human condition that people need to address....situation, problem, process, solution.....I'm on step 3 here...process...some folks can't get past step 2 ..the first few pages of the thread were about process...the end it just became people talking about each other which I had hoped wouldn't keep happening. Until people get past that habit there will be only old information...I'm sorry my posts about my experiences didn't translate to you as new information because I've never spoken here about them before....I asked you to relate some personal experiences about your life in a similar fashion....and Marz...etc....people just seem to not get the process part of problem solving and define themselves with the problems to often in my view..whether a forum member gets my point or not is out of my control but I will continue to make my point

@dviss1 is not a muslim. You assume he is one. You assume muslim writing is the scripture of the black man.

The Freedom Riders from 1961....brave people white and black who suffered brutally from protesting segregation

He didn't assume shit. I've said in this very thread in agnostic. I've also said in this very thread I was raised Baptist Christian.
I've said it many times. I referenced a KJV scripture where it says God created good and evil.

He took that and went on a direction I don't subscribe to...

people just seem to not get the process part of problem solving

I too like the process of problem solving. This will be a very tough nut to crack. It should not even be a nut but it is and has been growing tough year by year. Sheathed in pride, myths, and distrust.

well......glad millions of people who protested racism didn't say that

My mother and grandmother were among them.

River, you keep acting like he genuinely wanted to garner info with this thread when it's amazingly obvious he has his mind made up.

That's why I'm pissing on this sorry ass thread.

...religions, meh.

..."my God is better than your God"...let's fight !

"Lets be forgiving and not judge" lets burn that bitch at the stake.

Religion is the most devisive institute there is, even above politics.

It was and I tried. But once I caught the gist, it's easy to see how meaningless this thread is.

I've done the latter in the past to try and reach step 3 with him and he simply called a whiner. Just like he called @SportsAndWhine a whiner above.

You keep giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm done doing that for him.

You keep giving him the benefit of the doubt.
nah bro...I have no control over any of that nor want any...but I will still work the process...there are others to engage in the thread or better yet...engage the topic without addressing anyone personally..that's a good place to start in my view

I'm doing my best to clear up misperceptions, but there's so much built up animosity between certain posters, it's hard for any discussion to remain civil for long.

It's hard to remain civil with certain posters.
When these posters purposely post in a way that is meant to 'slow walk you to their way of thinking'
It shows they have no interest in discussion, they have no interest in another point of view.
The only want to 'prove' their way of thinking is right.
It's a 'debate' tactic that a kid in middle school could see through.

If they'd stop posting this way, people like @dviss1 would actually have a discussion with them. Without any issues.
Until that happens though. IMO These posters force the mods to work in an attempt to keep the 'discussion' civil.
This is also another way of attempting to act superior imo.

...^^^ ahhh, the voice of reason...this thread's destiny should have been predetermined before it began.

GFY!

I am tired for the day. I might tell some tails of the time, when I feel like it. Carry on!

Really? That was a simple yes or no answer and you answer with go fuck yourself?

Nice...

Exactly. It was a baited thread to begin with. I had issues with the op with some racist comments he made at Olive. I stayed away from the discussion as I felt no sincerity was involved.

Yup we've known for some time. Not sure why I even engaged.

...same here...some people should pick their fights more wisely.

He's being racist to me in a thread called "what is a racist?".

Go figure.
