Probably the best BGD trade prop I've ever seen
And it still sucks.

I would do CJ for the 10th pick and Markelle Fultz. Fultz is a wild card but he's a #1 pick two years ago, very talented just not sure what the deal is with his shoulder, and you get the 10th pick? No brainer.
I dunno. Saves us some money, adds some more size to the backcourt, opens up a starting spot for Collins, and gets rid of Leonard. It has some merit. And it still sucks.![]()
Middleton had a down year both shooting and defensively. The whole Bucks team was disappointing though. It's the only reason there is a slight chance he'd be available for the TPE (probably not).Legit defender my ass. He was getting TORCHED in the P/Os... Middleton is overrated ADONAL FOYLE in this forum.

who would you target at 10th?

I think we would have to get Saric in any Philly dealHow does this make Portland better?
What is this fascination with draft picks? Would I love the 10th pick? Yes. Would I sacrifice one of the top scorers in the league for it? Nope. And I’m not even against trading CJ, but only, and I mean only, if it made us better. So someone like Saric would have to be involved, on top of the 10th pick. Trading CJ for two maybes would be so fucking stupid, no matter what you think of CJ. The only one happy with that would be Allen’s accountant.
This is not bad. Props. Then again, I'm a big Middleton fan. I'm sure the board would love to trade Henson for Meyers. Even though Henson isn't that great, he may be a better fit. He's definitely quicker. Not sure what to think about Delladova. I've seen him be good. I've seen him be bad. I think he plays defense, he isn't small, he isn't old, and we could use another PG, so there's that. It even saves the team some lux tax money.

Never doubt The Sultan of Swish3I'm stunned that Meyers has a higher PER than CJ.

Well the 'fascination' with top 10 picks is many of them turn out to be pretty good, especially in what is considered a very good draft class. It gives you an opportunity to balance out your roster as you get to select guys who fill a need. This is hypothetical, coming from a podcast with Zach Lowe. And you get Fultz, last year's #1 pick. But you go ahead and ride the CJ train and hope for better results.
It makes no sense for them unless they strikeout this off-season.CJ to Philly just makes too much sense... they sorely need a player that can create his own shot... plus he played college ball in the area... and they can make the deal without giving up one of their top 2 players and still give us a ton of assets to make us better as a team... seems like a no brained for both sides
Yep and this would be after free agency meaning well after the draft so they couldn’t sell the pick anymore. Even if they strike out in free agency they are better off putting aside the money for next year and offering one-year deals like they did this year with Redick and Johnson. It makes no sense for them unless they strikeout this off-season.
Won't necessarily happen but I wouldn't mind facilitating Lebron to Philly. Of course, if Philly has the cap space already I suppose they're not all that incentivized to use us rather than just signing him. Unless they could do something like this after signing a free agent.
CJ to Cleveland
Lebron to Philly
Pick/Saric/Fultz? to Portland
Blazers might.. idk. What about this (Going with the Simmons podcast Myles Turner suggestion but not wanting Turner):
Pacers get CJ
Lakers get Myles Turner, Darren Collison (can be waived for only $2 million against the cap next year), Al Jefferson (can be waived for only $4 million against the cap next year)
Blazers get Luol Deng, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, #25 pick, and a 2019 1st from Indy
Pacers basically get CJ for Turner and a future 1st since they are likely to not pick up either Collison or Jefferson contracts. CJ and Oladipo is an interesting back court and CJ provides some much needed shooting.
Lakers clear a massive amount of salary by getting rid of Deng. Sure it costs them Ingram but Turner fills a much bigger position of need for them if they go after LeBron and PG because that would relegate Ingram to the bench anyway. Turner can be their starting center if they continue the youth process or a capable big man if they sign one or both of those other guys and is super cheap for another year still.
Blazers obviously hope Ingram turns into a stud SF. Hart is a decent rotational guard to ease the pain of losing CJ. They could package 24 and 25 to move up to get Khyri Thomas (or whoever), and they get another asset in a 1st rounder next year to include in other trades. I'm not the biggest Ingram fan but he does still have a ton of potential. This also clears the way to have our financial situation looking really good in the summer of 2020.
Who says no?
I was just going off of Simmons trade idea that Indy would want him. If they had CJ they probably don't need Collison. Myles Turner had a really down year and they might just want to get something for him with one year left on his rookie deal.Blazers might.. idk.
Packers probably would. They have Oladipo? Would they really view CJ as a PG? Why would they trade their young starting center, their starring PG (whos underrated, and might be back contrary to what you believe), and a pick for CJ?

Except LeBron is a free agent sooooo why would he want the 76ers to give up good stuff to get him? If LeBron is leaving why wouldn't the Cavs want Fultz, Saric, and #10?Yes, yes and yes. This could help the team next year as I believe Fultz is a better defender out of the gate than CJ. But, it also allows for a reset if things don't work out over the next couple years. You would end up with Collins, Fultz and whoever you take at 10.
Cavs have no leverage...he's a free agent...he'd have to do a sign and trade and that's not necessary...Lebron can just sign wherever he wants.Except LeBron is a free agent sooooo why would he want the 76ers to give up good stuff to get him? If LeBron is leaving why wouldn't the Cavs want Fultz, Saric, and #10?
It makes no sense.
