CJ and a first for Jrue Holiday.
I like it although means even less time for Simons

CJ and a first for Jrue Holiday.
If Olshey traded a young healthy stud like CJ for Blake's constantly broken down and massively overpaid ass, I'd picket the Blazers' offices.
Have fun

I don't think he ever will be traded for the duration of his contract...If Olshey traded a young healthy stud like CJ for Blake's constantly broken down and massively overpaid ass, I'd picket the Blazers' offices.
This I agree with you on. There is no reason to sign CJ to an extension if they were even remotely interested in trading him.I don't think he ever will be traded for the duration of his contract...
Or at least, for the duration of Neil Olshey's employment as GMI don't think he ever will be traded for the duration of his contract...
good point...we could end up with Trader Bob againOr at least, for the duration of Neil Olshey's employment as GM
I like the KNK option. If New York keeps sucking..
Julius Randle and Nitikilina?
I don't think CJ's going anywhere but things can change quickly. Clippers signed Blake to a massive contract and traded him right away too. This I agree with you on. There is no reason to sign CJ to an extension if they were even remotely interested in trading him.
Blake is a legitimate All-star talent. Trading CJ for Blake would immediately improve Portland's TEAM.If Olshey traded a young healthy stud like CJ for Blake's constantly broken down and massively overpaid ass, I'd picket the Blazers' offices.
Bump.
I say the teams that might be interested in CJ are Milwaukee, Cleveland, New Jersey and possibly Boston.
But he is legitimately always injured. We'd have a great team the way that Golden State currently has a great team.Blake is a legitimate All-star talent. Trading CJ for Blake would immediately improve Portland's TEAM.
CJ is going to shut up the trade talk soon enough...book it. He'll take over a string of games and get in a groove.
what makes you think that? Do you believe posters here are so stupid they can't remember past the last 6 games? Or is it possible that their opinions on CJ have actually been formed over the last 4+ seasons and 330 games? In the years when he's spent times in his grooves and times not in his grooves...while consistently being a ball-stopper and poor defender, grooved or ungrooved.
And the really interesting thing is that Dame has evolved so much over the past seven seasons. He's a better defender, a better passer, and consistently an amazing leader.
CJ is the same dude that he was four years ago.
One thing though you got to remember. CJ goes through streaks. Always has probably always will. That being said. At this point of the season he can have three good games and put himself right in the middle of that graph. However.... He can stink up the following three games and put himself right back where he is now. Just sayin.
There is no way for him to shoot up to the middle of the graph vertically, only horizontally. One thing though you got to remember. CJ goes through streaks. Always has probably always will. So now you gonna try to tell me he cannot get a number of steals and a few blocked shots and some defensive rebounds and not move up the graph vertically? Maybe i'm reading it wrong but how exactly did Baze get where he is? If this is actually team numbers while on the court then are you also going to tell me there is no way for him to move up the chart vertically? They are 6 games into the season. Please tell me how these numbers cannot change in the next 6 games? There is no way for him to shoot up to the middle of the graph vertically, only horizontally.
CJ has never been close to the middle line vertically in this graph for his whole career. I will be the first to give you credit if it happens after I pick my jaw up off the floor but he's not a good enough defender to ever have to worry about having to do that.So now you gonna try to tell me he cannot get a number of steals and a few blocked shots and some defensive rebounds and not move up the graph vertically? Oh I understand then. I thought it actually couldn’t happen? I agree it probably will not. Actually I agree it won’t happen. CJ just is not going to change.CJ has never been close to the middle line vertically in this graph for his whole career.
