...considering what you have said thus far on the subject, gee, why wouldn't I be "defensive"?...you might also want to research "paranoia" and it's definitions as well as it many many sources and causes which absolutely nothing to do with marijuana use.

I just find it really comical that the guys that are so outspoken about PEDs are the same guys defending pot use.
 
As you like to educate yourself on this subject, I'd point you towards data related to THC and CBD ratios. The continued selection of clones higher in THC have resulted in significantly lower CBD levels, this is where the mental health issues are likely rooted. The pot of your youth isn't what you get today.

I'm not attacking your lifestyle or choices, just the pure biochemical science and pharmacology. Its a vice, you don't need to convince anyone or rationalize an equivalent. Its your thing, leave it at that.

...wait a minute...that has to be one of the most asinine things I've heard in awhile...how in the hell can you accuse me of using a strawman argument when you are now correlating MLB PEDS to individual and casual mary jane use?... WTF does athletes doing PEDS have to do with me smoking pot occasionally?...that's terrible, just terrible.

...and I tell you what, go do all the fucking googling you want...link a "study" if you want, and I'll offer another one to debunk it.


...I'm already "educated" on the subject...and often times, your "studies" are skewed and your "data" is very subjective and is often the bi-product of studying the effects on lab rats and not humans...and in no way says in absolute certainty that marijuana affects everyone in the same way.

So, after skillfully deflecting away from my challenge, let me use one of your expert techniques. For the second time, counter the THC/CBD data?

...sorry, but I didn't "deflect away" from anything...if you'll reread, I already addressed your generality...like I said, link whatever study you want...and if I choose to, I'm sure I can offer something to the contrary. But I can see where this is going, your "data" is above reproach, and mine is not, ...right?

I venture to claim:-

Clayton Kershaw as good as his records, awards et al. Will never be a Koufaxian Epic Legend like Sandy.
No doubt Kershaw if healthy will go down in History as perhaps one of if not the best player of this era, tho' that's debatable.....IMO. But, he will never reach the heights of Koufax's legendary heights; regardless of how many Trifetca's, and Awards he brings home.

Just saying, my 2 cents of an opinion. I was glued to the TV when Koufax pitched. With Kershaw I still can predict what pitch he's going to toss in a pitch by pitch situation, like that hanging curve he threw Matt Adams in St. Louis. Kershaw unlike Sandy, stuck to much with the same repertoire of his pitch counts, determining what pitch to throw. A 2 strike count, always ALWAYS, a hanging curveball, even when he blows fastballs by guys who have not a prayer of catching up to it, so why hang one?

not to take anything away from the great Sandy Koufax but...if you put Kershaw on Sandy's mound his numbers (Kershaw's) would improve

...uhhh, tote has already clearly illustrated that he does not share your view, so I don't know how you can use him as a reference.

...love how you think people whose opinions are in the vast majority somehow are "puppets" while those in the minority are not....exactly how does that work?

... maybe, maybe not.

...yes, the mound height is slightly different now but you also have to consider that the hitters are also better today than they were in Koufax's day.
