Key question regarding moves by Dwight Jaynes.

Neil: "Everyone knows what Paul's goals were, and if there is a move that makes us a better now, it will be made. And everyone in the organization will try to keep his vision."

This is somewhat reassuring.

Mcgowan looks so.... weird.

Also, they skirted the last question about moving pretty hard. lol.

What did they say? I'm unable to watch

That is until the team gets sold unless Bert Klode has a say in things.

The smartest thing for us fans to do would be to have a welcome to Rip City night for Jody Allen in a month or two. Make her fall in love with the city and team.

I can't expect a new owner to be as deeply invested in the team, and willing to spend to the level Paul did in order to compete, but I don't expect the Blazers to be moving out of Portland anytime soon.

"This team is great, it would be so cool if they were in Seattle!"

I’ve been day dreaming that somehow we can work out a way to buy the team as a city like greenbay did with the packers

Maybe her son Duncan will talk her out of selling either, he’s 29 and a Hawks fan. Everyone should start blowing up his social media.

They'll keep the Seahawks. Portland is an afterthought for them in all likelihood.

Paul has given away BILLIONS, it would have cemented his name in OREGON history FOREVER If he would of left the Blazers to the City/Fans.

But it’s already cemented either way.

A huge problem for the sustainability of the Blazers in Portland is that we don't have that owner who will spend the extra money anymore. How are we going to put a squad together. Don't have money to overpay, players don't like living in Portland.

There you go making up shit again. You already know who the team will be sold to?

Do we currently have an owner that will spend money above and beyond? Paul Allen was that guy. We currently do not.

“I think this is going to be a matter of months before this is all sorted out. Usually in these cases, the leagues get involved. In this case, the NBA will get involved. They have a short list of potential buyers, people who have come forward previously and said, ‘hey, if a team ever goes on the market, I want to be on that list.’ The NBA has vetted those people, make sure they have money, make sure they don’t have any skeletons in the closet. But it’s going to be a matter of months. I don’t expect that we will see any changes this season. I think it’s going to be status quo, and then in the off-season this will probably get sorted out.”

This is not good news... if the NBA is going to an short list of buyers that were on a pre existing list, then it’s definitely not a local buyer, and good chance team moves in future

Teams getting a new owner doesn't mean there's a good chance the team moves. It just means there's a chance.

It must suck to always look at things from a negative point of view.

Your post is angry and uninfirmed

How is it "angry and uniformed".

All he posted was:

The rest was a quote.

I fail to see the anger or misinformation here. Its rational speculation.

It says there are people who want to be on the list. People who are potential buyers who they have already vetted. That doesn't mean they are ONLY using the list.

I'm fully aware of what was his quote and what came from the article.

The "definitely" not a local owner is not a given from the article
