You already know you want me as your GM. Do I really have to provide a resume?

I'd be worried you'd want to be a Player/GM. :hoops: You'd want to sign yourself and I'd have to veto that. Then things would get awkward...

The lease doesn't mean shit.

The buyout is low now.
It takes two parties to create a buyout.

And the NBA would likely have some say, so make that three parties... It'd be extremely complicated.

I'd play in Summer League. That's all.

Moda center contract goes through 2025. Any prospective owner wishing to move the team would have to pay $100 million per year to do so...$900 million

Also, I doubt that they're going to sell to someone with intentions to move the team. I don't think they'd spite what Paul Allen wanted..

Kobe had a really hard time trusting his team mates on a basketball court, I think he’d find it really frustrating to do that as an owner. Lebron in a few years after he retired Id be up for that.
Im wary of players of that caliber as owners or upper management. Maybe Kobe would do fine, but I think Lebrons leadership skills have developed really well, and I believe he’d trust his team to help make decisions. Not sure Kobe would.

Fair criticisms. I think he has an amazing basketball mind and would make good decisions on his "cabinet".

LeBron? Of course bro. But that couldn't happen for 5-7 years.

How much did Clay Bennett end up paying to get out of the Seattle lease? Pennies on the dollar.

Source? If so, that's not including stadium-construction and relacation costs... And that's just incentive for someone to not even propose a move... After the proposal, it'd still be tough to move the team because of the NBA.

When you should be out scouting other teams. See, you're already off focus. That sound you just heard was your resume' going through the shredder.

Now if you would like to re-apply for Asst Director of College Scouting, I would be willing to set up an interview for you with the Director. Warning, he is a big time analytics guy.

You could be correct if it meant the Blazers sticking around it could definitely be worse.

Kobes mind for the game is great no doubt about it.

It's not the same scenario, but keep up the good work.

I can scout people from the front-line. Only 2 games going on at once. Everything else would be scouting.

For real though, my skillset is top-notch. I've been through 2 years of business school, know the CBA, know how to evaluate players, have played the game at the college level. My resume is golden.

I'm from Portland and FUCK California AND Vegas!

My mother lived in Henderson NV for over a decade and YES it's a shithole. Just go two blocks off the strip.

Roaches literally run down the street.

And who the fuck are you ROOK?
Who's talking about El Presidente, not you...

Ive developed neural networks and AI’s that use large databases for robotics. I could do that for making more educated guesses on drafting or signing the right players. Lots of data out there to eat up. There thats my resume lol. Shredder.

Every scenario is different, but the basics remain the same. Dolla dolla bill y'all.

Cept that the city and the team aren't in a discussion about building a new stadium for the team, and the city hadn't just spend a TON of money building a football stadium and baseball stadium. So yeah, "dolla dolla bill y'all" does apply. But it's not the same as what happened in Seattle, so bringing it up as though it proves some kind of point or makes you appear to be more knowledgeable about the situation is kind of dumb. Because it doesn't.
