I agree that it is very adequate, just wasn't sure how the league views older arenas.

The hangup for us getting the All Star game was always been lack of hotel space, with the new convention center hotel going up that will not be a problem anymore. Now the NBA will have to think of a new reason for not allowing the AS game here.

I know Stern has a vendetta against Portland years back for Sports Action and circumventing the salary cap with Dudley? I doubt the new guys feels the same, seems a lot more congenial towards gambling and such.

The only problem with the Rose Garden is the location of the suites. They should be lower. Other than that I can't think of a nicer arena that I've been to. I've been to Staples Center and I like the Rose Garden better. I've been to Phoenix, Boston, and San Antonio as well and I don't think any of them are as good either.

Why are the seats blue now? Why does this arena look much smaller now? Why is our team sitting on right side instead of traditional on the left? I see they updated court old school but moda center looks odd and small now
