What to do with Allen Crabbe...

John Henson would be the next person I'd look at in that regard.
Averaging almost 2 blocks in < 20 mpg. And just signed a 4yr, 44 mil deal at age 25

hmm. Very intriguing. Is he better than Plums though?

I'm not sure, nor do I even think we'd be able to get him. But playing behind Monroe and Parker and getting $11M/yr, maybe...

Ya they have some clutter there. And it's clearly not working.

Thad Young should def be a target this summer, though. Think BK would get rid of that contract asap.

Thad Young + Whiteside?
Exactly who I was thinking more than Henson.

Aminu + scrub for Young might be doable as it saves BK some cash.
Go HARD after Whiteside.

Dame/CJ/Crabbe/Young/Whiteside would create some headaches for opponents. Love the versatility and skills that lineup offers.

I'd still pursue Henson before Whiteside, for two reasons: 1) He's already locked up for several years; and 2) There are no questions about his focus/character. I mean, if all we were looking for is talent, Larry Sanders is still out there too.

Milwaukee has been under-performing as well. They might be more willing to make a trade at this point for some vets like Hendo.

We could trade for Monroe and tell him tough shit he denied us last summer.... he is still ours!!!

Actually I don't want him. :), but just saying, that would be kinda funny if we worked a traded out for the guy who turned us down last summer.

No interest in Monroe whatsoever. He's not the rim protector we need or want.

Henson ranks #3 in rim protection in the entire league (behind only Gobert and Withey, with Ezeli, Bogut, and Whiteside right below him) and is twice the rim protector that Monroe is (by raw pts saved/36 mins).

@PtldPlatypus might be onto something here with Henson. I'd give up Meyers for him.

I've always liked Henson (I've mentioned him several times in the past) & would love to get him if we can; 1 of my reasons for liking him is bc he's a guy that can be given whatever minutes suits the needs of the team & he produces in that time (think... Brandan Wright, I like/have mentioned him before also:wink:) & u can use him in a "center by committee (I think this is the smarter way to run things vs. 1 dominant center; there r many reasons why I favor the former i.e. what if/when ur dominant 5 gets hurt/sick, foul trouble, etc. @ least 2 centers gives u more fouls, energy, different dynamics, can ACTUALLY cost u LESS $, more flexibility w/ contracts, etc.)."

ps Ezeli would b awesome too (yet another guy I've been vocal about acquiring in the past:twothumbs:); there's been much improvement in his game both mentally & physically.

I'm not sure about that but I'd LOVE it IF we could unload Henderson on them/some1 else & get some1 we actually want/that CAN use:ygrin:

I'd give up quite a bit more than that. A deal sending out some combination of 3 of Henderson/Aminu/Meyers/Vonleh and returning Young and Henson would be great.

I also wouldn't mind doing most of ^, w/ the exception of Vonleh (I'd replace him w/ some1 else or some other asset)

Keep Crabbe I agree around 10 million mark.
That would be great but I think he's going to want more than that. The guy can play and there will be a team that will give him more than 10 mill also.

Henson always produces numbers but for some reason he is never able to stay on the floor or fall into the coaches favor. I'd venture to guess that there are other things going on behind the scenes. According to Bucks fans, he's really lazy sometimes and takes possessions off. Mentally, he's really fragile like Meyers. Might not have the greatest work ethic either.

I think he needs the right situation with the right coaching and players around him. I would definitely try to acquire him but I don't think Milwaukee would let him go for cheap considering how much they paid him to be a 15 MPG player.

Ya they signed him for that deal AFTER going big and landing Monroe. Curious move. They had to know that the two wouldn't play together, especially with Jabari returning from injury, right? Did they think really all three would play together?
