what to do with Little, Reddish and Thybulle?

I wouldn't mind Thybulle still being on the team.

Ultimate win scenario on draft day for me is us grabbing Amen. Basically Dame/Ant/Amen/Mays at PG, Ant/Sharpe/Thybulle/Mays at SG, with Amen starting his night at backup SF. Thybulle is going to be needed to be Amen's safety valve imo. With Thybulle, we have a POA defender that can come in and play right away if Amen happens to pick up two quick fouls or something like that.

Nas doesn't necessarily need to leave, just when his salary is needed to facilitate a trade.

Reddish can go. I wasn't excited to see him land here, and I constantly heard "he was known for shooting in high school. Dame likes him, are you saying you know more than Dame"? I don't need another season of him around to be convinced I'm right about him.

Bring back Matisse for any contract 10 mil or less, use Nas as a filler for trade, let Cam walk.

Honestly I don't care
Wasted time discussing about those marginal players

Our future begins once we trade Dame

You build around Scoot/Sharpe or Sharpe/Miller and everything else comes later

Little is under contract, so unless we can trade him for value he should be (and I want him to be) back.

Reddish? Gone.

Thybulle? Gone (unless he's really cheap).

Reddish had a streak of about 5-7 games when he looked worth re-signing. Then he regressed to norms. I suppose if he's willing to sign for a minimum and the Blazers need a body for a minimum roster, he's worth considering. But he sure seems like a 'been-there-done-that-why-bother' player

Thybulle would be worth it at 5M or less, IMO. Always good to have a defensive wing specialist with decent size.

Thybulle at Little's salary range would be great.

Reddish: shop like crazy for S&T options, when that falls flat, offer him a vet's min, or let him test the market
Little: keep unless salary's needed in a trade. He's under contract, not worthless, but also probably not a pillar piece, so... hold?
Matisse: Resign to a reasonable deal after other decisions have been made and executed.

If we want to make trades we need salaries to move. I would give Cam his qualifying offer.
Same with Thybulle.

If you only give them the 1-yr QO, then both players essentially get a no-trade clause (since they would loose bird rights with a trade). It would need to be a 2-year contract

It depends on how the rest of the team gets constructed post draft/pre season.

If you rank the 3 players, the rankings would be different for...

Half court defense
Fast break defense
Half court offense
Fast break offense
Movement off ball offense

The one thing I do see, is that Cam can create offense when the O is struggling better than the other 3. He's got high end length/quick twitch skills before the D is set.
Also, Mathreese is really freaking quick at recovering on D.
Lastly, when Little is "on", he is hard to defend.

Here's the key detail.... Thybulle and Reddish are RFA. So unless someone tosses a ridiculous contract at them, or we decide to renounce them to free up cap space, I think they will be back. This team needs length and this team needs depth. Neither of those guys are really starting quality players, but they should be okay coming off the bench. With that said, Knox and Reddish seem very similar to me, and we have Knox for another season.

How much later are we talking? I am pretty sure we need to field a team with at least 13 players.

Matisse is a great pt of attack defender with the bench mob..I hope we keep him. I've wanted to trade Ant and Nas for two years now....Reddish is better than Greg Brown at the end of the bench I doubt we'll bring him back. Thybulle brings some of what we got with Josh Hart on defense and we need that I want Thybulle to work on his 3 pt shot all offseason because he's pretty close to a young Wes Mathews.

I’m guessing Portland goes 21/3 or something like that for Thybulle vs a QO.

Get rid of, get rid of, keep.

Keep Mattisse. Get rid of Reddish. Keep Nas unless he helps money-wise on a trade in which case you add him in and honestly not worry too much about it. He has a good tradable contract, so I'm not trying to dump him just to dump him, but definitely use that to your advantage.
