How so? I asked you a question. You dodged it.

You’re in denial
That's kinda why I said it was a "Rumor".Baseless speculation.
The sale is going to auction. It's going to be almost entirely price based. They are still in the very early stages of the sales process.
You think Clingan is ready to play 30 minutes a night and put up DA Numbers……A NIGHT!
No. NBA teams are not going to post their draft boards publicly. Terrrific question and glad I could help. How so? I asked you a question. You dodged it.
Sure but if they’re trying to win now then guys like Grant and Timelord will playI would rather go with Shae at the 2 than Deni
Trading a guy who played a grand total of 26 games over 2 years because he can't walk without getting injured should be a no brainer.
I always had @THE HCP as a “good sense, common looks” kinda dudeYou'd know a lot about having neither
You guys would know better, but how much of it was “keep him in bubble wrap in case there’s a deadline trade” vs. “we’d love to play him 20mpg but he keeps tearing things?”Trading a guy who played a grand total of 26 games over 2 years because he can't walk without getting injured should be a no brainer.
Clingan also gives a shit and will do whatever it takes to help his team win.Clingan averaged 28 minutes over the last 20 games. He didn't score like DA, but he doesn't shoot nearly as much. However, he rebounded at an elite level, especially on the offensive glass, and was an excellent rim protector Portland and paint defender; two things Ayton doesn't do
so yeah, I think he could play 30 minutes a night but probably won't need to
* Portland was +4.2 in rebounding with Clingan on the floor; they were -1.4 in rebounding with Ayton on the floor
* Portland's block rate was +2.2 with Clingan on the floor; it was -2.1 with Ayton on the floor
* Portland's offensive rating was +0.8 with Clingan on the floor; -0.3 with Ayton on the floor
* Portland's opponents had an offensive rating of 112.5 with Clingan on the floor; and a rating of 116.3 with him off the floor. They were -3.8 points worse facing Clingan
* Portland's opponents had an offensive rating of 118.4 with Ayton on the floor; and a rating of 113.6 with him off the floor. They were +4.8 points better facing Ayton
Still seems like you have a TON of pent up negativity. Wound so tight. Breath…..Only thing we know is Cronin is a complete tool and he even knows once there is a new owner he is out of a job and then will go on a spin doctor type tour blaming everyone so he can get another job in a few years ... bank on this
I promise you the the tank is over. Joe and CB are going to try to win EVERY game going forward. Whatever that takes, it’s on.Only that matters is unloading Grant and Timelord. I refuse to accept a opening night starting 5 of:
Jrue
Deni
Tou
Grant
Ayton

all talk about rolling with 5 centers is just so we do not appear in urgent need to make a trade which diminishes our bargaining power, one or two of ayton robwill reath will be gone. ideally grant too but we need to find someone stupid to give us something good for him and his contractThe Jrue/Simons trade is not finalized and Cronin can't talk about it, meaning it could likely get expanded. Jrue could potentially be sent elsewhere.
The Blazers are continuously shopping at least Ayton and Williams and it appears they want Clingan starting next season. Though, Cronin said we could potentially go into next year with the current roster if moves don't happen, though it seems his plan is to make more moves.
Grant could be moved but is likely the hardest contract to get rid of.
By "we" do you mean the Lakers when they play the Blazers?WAY too much to read.
Right now on opening night DA gives us a better chance to win an NBA game than DC.

The Blazers aren’t done
Drafting Yang Jokic means RWIII is all but gone
This team still does stupid shit, way too much
What am I missing
was RWIII ever really here?
I really liked Clingan’s defense before his injury last season; he was forcing teams to respect him. I think Yang is definitely the better prospect, for sure, but why not have both of them compete against each other in practice and get better, then trade off the asset you don’t want keep later?I'm not sold on Cling Kong. I don't get it. I think he's a stiff. All I can see is big white man in the mold of Pryzbilla. I hope I'm wrong. At least Yang has some offensive game. It seems like a reasonable gamble.
One of them is gunna Jokic and the other NurkicI really liked Clingan’s defense before his injury last season; he was forcing teams to respect him. Did you miss the quotes?

I feel like we've had an iteration of this type of thread for the past few years where "Cronin's not done" when he actually is.The Blazers aren’t done

Yeah, I don't put it past Joe to bring 5 centers into camp... hell and at the end of the season, keep Jerami, burry our young talent on the bench and come up short of the play-in. I also don't think it's impossible that Joe moves Ayton, Rob and Jerami for meh player but less money in future salaries which would free up time to see if the guys Joe has drafted and others he's kept can win games with Jrue as their on floor general.I feel like we've had an iteration of this type of thread the for the past few years where "Cronin's not done" when he actually is.

I think at this point having been reality checked into oblivion. I would love to see those guys on other teams with expiring contracts returning that just don't get in the way of our young guys being able to show if they're capable of making it to the play-in and ultimately to the playoffs or not.I think all out ideas about Portland somehow getting 1st round picks for their vets were just fantasies. People here were dreaming about Orlando sending two 1st's for Ant. But the Blazers had to add two 2nd's to Simons to trade him for a 35 year old guard with a bad contract
Ayton-Grant? I think the best Portland could do is expiring contracts, and maybe a 2nd
